[Balz to the Wall]

Like many of you I was dissatisfied with the original endings but after just finishing the extended cut my faith in Bioware is restored. I even started a second playthrough and can't wait for Omega to come. Thank you Bioware for your commitment to the fanbase and for the countless hours of enjoyment you have given me.

The EC is like a Report Card that had 4 F's on it. And then Extra Credit got 3 F's and a D.

I must admit it helped, but it hardly restored my faith. Kinda like a band-aid for a broken ankle, know what I mean?

Still, props for Bioware for at least doing SOMETHING.

Not for me. Had the EC been the original, it might have resulted in less of an outrage, but there are still plenty of other design decisions that crippled the end game story/action.

I think I actually hate the EC more than the original endings.

I loved the ending, at first i was pissed off but when i played another play through I was hooked now im playing the whole entire trilogy again. Mass effect will always be my number one sci-fi video game story then comes Halo franchise.

I understand your points but the EC is way better than what we had originally in my opinion. EC and Leviathan answered pretty much all my questions, which is what i took issue with the original endings.

It changed Casey Hudson's grade from an F for Failure to a C- for Below Average.

It still didn't address some basic issues with the structure, it took Leviathan to reveal that the Catalyst is just an AI programmed to solve a faulty logic problem.

EC was just the old endings with smiley faces drawn on them. Better than nothing, but not enough by a long shot.

What are you talking about?  Even after the EC, Bioware still didn't delivery any of they're promises tha tI know of.  Why is there still an ABC ending?  It's just like the time my dad didn't get me a Macbook Pro for Christmas.

I get what your saying but they can't make a separate ending for every possibility you know? The game would never get finished.

Yeah this is how I feel.  The EC was a nice gesture and I appreciate the intent, but it didn't change anything.  It just looked pretty.  Though I am happy you are able to enjoy it OP.

EC helped, but they need to do a DLC like Witch Hunt; finish the tale. That's how the best RPG work, they're a story, some better than others, and not all the same.
