Please, they said time and time agein that they are not using Shepard agein. Just becaise the play can imagine what Happen to Sheprd does not mean it will conflict with furture story lines. They will just not touch on Shepards fate if he lives after destroy. Sheprd's fate is open ended and BW WILL NEVER GIVE THE ANWSER TO IT.AresKeith wrote...

Why would they make one of the endings open ended if there is no canon ending and there done with Shepard?
They are still making dlc, which they said they would not do if leviathen did not sell, and everyone want omega.....So I'll take there word for it since you don't have proof other wise.Kel Riever wrote...
Unless I am wrong. But only BioWare would really know that and since there is no other way to verify it outside of them, it depends on if you take their word for it or not. Given the biase of any company looking at itself, I think it is an awful thing to do to take only their word for things, but people do. You know, like, "The Leviathan DLC was the best selling DLC to date." Really? And exactly how do you prove that, BioWare? Whatever. If you like what your smoking, why change?

But they would not be making more dlc ifit did not sell well. If bw wanted to cover up the mistake, they would say it just sold well instead of saying it's the best selling dlc to date.Robhuzz wrote...

Admitting leviathan didn't sell as well as they hoped (whether true or not) would by like admitting they made mistakes. BioWare insists on not admitting they messed up ME3 so they will never do that. And since DLC takes but a fraction of the time it takes to develop a full game and fetches a lot of money for the time invested, making dlc, even when it doesn't sell really well, is a sound business descision that will still yield a profit.

Like many of you I was dissatisfied with the original endings but after just finishing the extended cut my faith in Bioware is restored. I even started a second playthrough and can't wait for Omega to come. Thank you Bioware for your commitment to the fanbase and for the countless hours of enjoyment you have given me.

I must admit it helped, but it hardly restored my faith. Kinda like a band-aid for a broken ankle, know what I mean?
Still, props for Bioware for at least doing SOMETHING.

Not exactly. It was more like every bone in your body was broken, and some got band-aids while others were legitimately fixed. It was very important to me that my pelvis got fixed whereas my right arm did not matter so much. Since my pelvis got fixed, I feel a lot better.
(Pelvis can symbolize the destruction of the relays here)
The message they're trying to convey would be 'Look this dlc is the best selling DLC ever! Everyone loves us!'. Remember the ending was a huge controversy (still is if you ask me) and they definitely didn't come out of it unscathed, no matter what EA's PR machine would have us believe.
