Seriously people I haven't been on the ME3 forum for a month and I come back and it is still 40% ending threads

It sounds like Bioware still hasn't fixed the endings people are upset about. Oh, that's right, they haven't.

Up until last week, Chris Priestly said he was open to the idea of DLC changing the ending provided there was interest in it. Last week he closed the One Last Plea thread and insisted never. So yeah, with him not only absolutely denying ever changing it, he also locked a few threads where people congregated to discuss alternate solutions so now they're posting everywhere instead of in one place. It's like he thinks we'll just magically disappear if they say it like that. <Snorts>

Bioware has gone on the record as saying they wanted a controversy, that's why they created the endings. Are you really that surprised that they got controversy?

Yes he closed it after saying that Shepard dying OR living was not ambiguous and after saying that the "team" was open to changing their minds.  Seems like ambiguity is a way of life for some people.

Speculations from everyone.

Yeah. It definitely sold better than ME2 dlc. In fact I think I recall one of the BW employees saying it was their best selling dlc to date.....

People are in denial

That's up against a lot of DLC that a great portion of fans got for free.  The Arrival was not well received, nor was Pinnacle Station for ME1.  LotSB had been the best-received, but the sales can't stack up to Leviathan because a lot of people didn't buy it-if it's free there are no sales figures.

People in deed are in denial.  Those review sites that insulted fans and criticized complaining have called it meh, pointless, and are not 100% behind it.  And someone somewhere led IGN to believe Leviathan would change the endings and to add to that Mike Gamble used ambiguous wording regarding that on twitter before finally saying it would not change the endings.  People bought Leviathan in part to see if this was another one of those cases where BW wasn't supposedly changing things, but did-like in the EC by adding refuse.

To Gamble´s deffense, ASAP after review with that IGN moron he run to twitter fix things which wrote IGN on their site...

I have seen that review and he clearly said to redactor that Leviathan won´t change ending, but ta-DA IGN still wrote their review with words : LEVIATHAN IS GOING TO CHANGE THE ENDING...

Care to back that up with anything?
I was just joking about 10000 sales estimate, it is probably 5/6 times that.

Sure. Chris Priestly stated it. Oh, what's that? BioWare could be lying? Too bad, because it's still infinitely more than you have.

He said it on the BSN. You know, BioWare's official forums.

In response to 3D, I am not arguing that Leviathan is better than Shadow Broker, only that it sold more. And I even noted the asterisk in my post that SB may well have outsold Levi if PS3 users had been charged for it. I just think it's ridiculous that people are claiming it did not sell well.

I'd be surprised to see anymore DLC.

Do you have statistics or an official source or are you just talking out of your backside?

An intelligent observation.

backside it is then.

Like many of you I was dissatisfied with the original endings but after just finishing the extended cut my faith in Bioware is restored. I even started a second playthrough and can't wait for Omega to come. Thank you Bioware for your commitment to the fanbase and for the countless hours of enjoyment you have given me.

What are you talking about?  Even after the EC, Bioware still didn't delivery any of they're promises tha tI know of.  Why is there still an ABC ending?  It's just like the time my dad didn't get me a Macbook Pro for Christmas. :(

I get what your saying but they can't make a separate ending for every possibility you know? The game would never get finished.

This is true, and would be a perfectly valid point, if Bioware hadn't promised (or at least heavily implied) to do that, and not to present an "ABC" ending (their words).

Maybe for ME2, but this is a bad game that lots of old fans hate.
It was these fans that bought the DLC for ME2, if they do not buy it for ME3 then the DLC won't sell as well.

Regardless of what people think of the game or the series as it stands, it is what it is. Omega is coming and so is a new game in the series. So thats pretty much all that matters. Those who continue to waste their lives on here everyday crying over something they hate don't matter.

The burden of proof isn't on me. I was asking how A Bethesda Fan got to certain conclusion. I wasn't making claims of my own.

Chris Priestly had no reason to post. He's the only source we have on the how well Leviathan sold. You can call him a liar if you want but concluding that Leviathan sold poorly is an ass-pull. Simple as that.

I can't either, but from what I've heard they can vary from "all protagonists live pretty much happily ever after" to "everyone dies and the villain escapes scot-free" and everything in between.

Man I wish that game was available on PC.
