How are your friends a proper measure? they're not, it's just not definitive. I mean, you may well know a lot of people who thought well of it sure, but from that you can't possibly make such a generalisation.

That research is as valid as any small group study but I see your point I still dissagree.

Bottom line is 91% of 75k people on this forum hated the ending, if those estimated figures in the study are accurate that's roughly 2 million unsatisfied customers.

Hardly a minority and rather a scary number as far as Bioware are concerned.

And neither can I what? I'm not trying to claim a certain amount of people feel a certain way about the EC. Merchant agreed with OP and said 'most people felt the same'. Hexley asked for a source because you don't just say that like its a fact. You said what merchant stated wasn't BS because most of your friends agreed. I questioned you because you appeared to be attempting to back up what Merchant said by using your friends as some form of adequate representation.

I, for one, thought the extended cut definitely helped show Bioware's commitment to their fanbase and to the Mass Effect community at large. I am glad to hear that the extended cut helped to restore your faith in Bioware and allowed you to continue enjoying the amazing trilogy completely. Keep playing Mass Effect and keep having fun with it! I plan on having many more countless hours of exploring the ME universe, especially once ME1 comes to PS3 - this year or next. Can't wait!
