Uh? His job is to hype BW, that is certainly a reason to take any and all statements with more than a grain of salt.

Do you take everything everyone says at face value? Corporations do love people like you.

Conspiracy theorists love people like you, I guess. Or we could quit with the labeling.

And what is "face value" in this scenario? Are you claiming there is some underlying meaning behind his post?

Besides, your own statement provides its own reason to believe him, which I observed when speaking about the Dragon Age 3 forums. BW obviously believes that it is currently in their best interest to say nothing - marketing wise - that can later be used against them by the fanbase.

I'm not sure what they have now could exactly be called a "Fanbase" lol.

BW doesn't say anything here because this is where we are, this is where we can respond, this isn't when the people who write about these kinds of things are, they can't turn to sensationalism journalism from one of the gaming mags or websites from here.

Exactly my point. So what does it tell you when BioWare DOES say something here?

About as much as the "We are listening" thread did.

But they were obviously listening. They never promised to change everything about the endings based on the fanbase's desires. But they did promise to listen, and they did, as evidence by some of the EC changes (relay retcon and Normandy getting off the planet) along with fixing plotholes that they obviously hadn't realized were there. (Joker looking back in the cockpit of a ship lololol)

The extended cut fixed nothing that should have been there in the first place the fact that they would even let a game with an ending like that out shows their true colors

This is unrelated to post that you quoted. Anyway I surprisingly agree with the first fragment of your sentence insofar as I believe the post-EC endings should have been what the originals were like in many aspects.

I have no idea what "their true colors" were shown to be, though. They made a bad videogame ending, man they are horrible people.

And that trailer was obvious trolling... they have dozen of colours to make few different characters but instead of that they picked up exactly same colours of their great endings, only what was missing was Catalyst but well there was even white guy..

I gave you another insight, Leviathan and EDI´s conversation about some game where fans were complaining about the overpowered nature of main antagonist - species of sentient ships wiping universe... that was trolling and paid one...

Or the so called easter egg "I want to believe", and final part in worst performance VA aka Ann Bryson in BioWare´s games since the SWKOTOR...

I feel the same way, OP. I didn't replay ME3 once, before the EC came out, simply because the original ending was so horrible. EC fixed every single issue I had.

I wish that I still had somewhere in my PC that screenshot of your signature from april of this year saying something like stick with your artistic vision BioWare endings are fine as they are, don´t bother with EC...

The ending is fine. It's not going to change. Get over it.

You realize ME3 ended with a slideshow right?

My signature from April? That's weird, because on my profile it says very clearly that I signed up on the 30th of June, 2012.

Why do you keep making stuff up? What's the point?

Remember now, people flip their mindset so quickly on BSN.  Same people hating on ME2 until ME3 came out, etc, etc.

I think that the destroy ending would have been made more tolerable if instead of the rubble scene there was a scene with Shepard in a hospital waking up (maybe with his/her LI holding his/her hand).

A scene similar to when he/she wakes up from project Lazarus then cut to credits, it would have left little room for speculation about his death and left room for people to head-canon his/her future. And for the types that like a dark depressing ending well i suppose they could head-canon the ceiling collapsing on the poor hero's head or just choose the other 3 endings where Shepard dies.

But that's just my opinion it would certainly have made me less depressed about how Shepard's story ended.

I liked it at first, because I focused on the fact that I got to say goodbye to Garrus. But after a while I returned my focus to the end of the actual storyline, which still isn't fixed.

You're the biggest Bioware/EA shill on this forum probably even paid for that purpose as well. I also recall you saying the original endings were fine and didn't need change to now loving the EC. You're very phoney, fickle, and inauthentic.

lol I love how haters accuse anyone that isn't constantly trashing bioware of being paid off.  Some people are desparate for conspiracies.
