The Praetorian's weakpoint is not the head, but the mouth (more precisely, the part where the skulls are). Any kind of AP mod or ammo, and you'll be able to hit the weakpoint from every angle.
Thank you. Didn't know that, just shot at the generaly direction of it's head and got a headshot medal.

Cerberus dragoon are armored and thus cannot be grabbed from cover, they behave like organics though and overload seems to stagger/stun them.
Beheading abominations will not explode them on death.

Hmm. So right where the beak is at eh? I usually aim there but that's still good to know. If only that damn thing can swallow grenades and take massive damage. That would be awesome. Anyone know if the paladin's omni-shield can block a possessed praetorian's homing rockets?

The biggest annoyances in my opinion are the Geth bombers and Cerberus Dragoons... Its not because they'r that tough to kill, just that they are so annoying to pop up in 'batches' when you least expect them... hehe
As for the maps, I like the changes/additions. Especially the new hazard maps (and of course the new FB white layout)

Geth bombers go down easy to the new master of geth (paladin.... snap freeze / ed / incinerate throw out cryo and fire exposions eeeevvvverrryywheere.... ) on gold against geth its handy to bring an fqi as she can keep the bombers away from you by hacking them. They move fast and when you hack them they put a lot of distance between you and them... take them out while they are hacked (I imagine they are harder on console, they're small, its like required headshots which are a pain on console).
Also note, flying enemies (geth bombers / seeker swarms) are actually treated by the game like walking ones, so you don't have to worry about them just flying from level to level (only where a ground bound unit can move). This leads to funny situations, like on goddess watching them come up and over the ladder.
I don't think the game is harder, per se, I think the changes just invalidated a lot of older stratagies, once we adapt, the game will be right back where it was in terms of difficulty. they have done a pretty good job forcing us to use more teamwork. A lot more wipes when people don't work together..... but a team working together crushes them just as well as it ever did.

Agree. New units means adjusting strategies. This is why Reapers have become "easy". No need to think or re-adjust there, just play them the old way.

Employ hit and run tactics against collectors, and be aggressive. The longer each unit stays on the field, the more likely they will get possessed and come at you stronger. Pop Scion cysts for extra damage, and shoot Praetoreans in their little sack of skulls for big damage boosts -- they are strong, but they have big weak points.
BE VERY CAREFUL when you see a Possessed Abomination slapping your team mates around, or stalking them from behind. It explodes like a grenade upon death and it WILL kill your team mates if it's too close.
Finally the Geth Bomber. This you should be thankful for that it takes the place of Infantry with guns in echange for flushing you out of cover against the faction that punishes you the most for being out of cover. It's the new Phantom, almost. When you see it, kill it fast.

I played my batarian sentinel last night to get my submission net point. SN is perfect for these. Hold them in place and drop them from afar.

Also... You own traitorous turret might shoot it right in the middle of the team. So be carefull.

(still being human there is always space for mistakes make sure the creepy facehugger is not near you/your squaddies).
Swarms use same paths as players can (a.k.a they won't climb flat wall instead they will look for ladder ot elevations).

The scions are terrible but taking out the tumours on their shoulders takes their armour down a lot quicker than hitting them elsewhere on the body, it can also interrupt them from firing if you hit them at the right time.
Is that right? Well I will stop aiming for square between thier eyes and maybe I won't end up needing to be revived soooooo much. They need a debuff, they are just unbearable in pairs...but also fun!

Looking around is probably the best tip. Don't get so focused on whats in front you that something sneaks up on you.
But this is not the way of the typhoon.

Yeah, def lol. The only thing is, it can be hard to aim for those if you run around a corner and they're already shooting you in the face ha ha:lol:

•Acolyte is great on taking away biotic barriers
•Hurrican is basicaly the best SMG
•Throw is great on keeping those suiced bombers (abominations) from grabing you or getting close
•Darkchannel is great on setting biotic detonations and eating the scions life away while teleport away from it (that goes for every other enemies)
•Annihalation is awsome for stunning your enemies, biotic detonations, restoring your barriers, increasing your speed, and great on those package retreival missions
But thats becuase of my Furys Build
