When I've finished a round of multiplayer I'll get a black screen with a message that says "Waiting for Other Players" the only way to get out of it is to exit to the lobby. can something be done about this?

the host can leave. this is mostly due to the connection between you and the host.
if its happening when you are the host, its your ISP and EA servers having a battle of the dumb.
if it's happening when you are not the host. then its a problem with the connection you are trying to make with the host.
long short of it, this crap will happen on and off. sucks I know.

Happens to me a lot when I play with Germans. Not british, but german hosts hate my connection.

This tends to happen after successive matches. Usually if I'm beginning to play for the day it'll happen a good couple of times, and it will eventually lessen. It does happen though with the peak being after every 5 or 6 matches.

This is about to become game breaking. Almost after every game after the DLC. The host leaving is not the problem as you are still able to communicate with the others in your team.

This and being stuck on "joining" after accepting a friend invite is happening a lot more after the recent patch/dlc.

i've been getting this a lot recently. even as host. so i wait 30 min for a lobby to fill, only to have this happen. I'd join PUGs, but that means my slayer with his 2 lag dependent skills (PD and BC) is relegated to the bench. not ideal.

The latter is more of an issue for me, it's turned into a lockout for some friends. The problem's been there since day one, it's just a lot worse now. My suspicion is that EA deprioritizes ps3 server maintenance for this game considering it's the least popular platform for Mass Effect 3, and Mass Effect 3 is the least popular EA online title. Except maybe Skate 3.

This just happened to me as host, very annoying as it was a good pug. It has happened before, but I've played so little since retaliation that I don't know if it's every time I host.

ive played 3 games so far tonight and after every one ive gotten stuck on the waiting for players screen
