Same here. Either that or I get stuck with people who dont bother to put on gear.

Not that I know of. If I had 4 people to play with I'd go private, but I usually only have 1 or 2 people on at any given time. Kinda sucks :/

Well hey maybe I should go play platinum then. I won't use the glitch so I shouldn't get banned for it. I don't care if I come in last. With "EVERYONE" using the missile glitch. I should have no problem finishing the match. LOL

People missile glitch to get fast credits to get URs to... what, exactly? Bragging rights? Why not just play the damn game?

You'd be surprised. Most of these glitchers go down more than anyone else on the team.

Yeah, why do that when you can modify your files to give yourself infinite credits?

To be fair i dont know how they do it but since i was gutted they stopped me camping in giant because they want me to play there way or buy packs then iv'e loved them lately as been getting easy credits......so in my mind it's what go's around comes around so stop trying to get people to play a certain way with there game.

By the way, just so no one's wasting equipment on a glitching lobby: If you see a person using a Striker+Acolyte or Krysae, he's probably glitching. Chances are even higher if they're using ammo capacity gear or a Destroyer.

Striker and Krysae sure, but I wouldn't make that assumption as quickly with the acolyte.

How is that even possible? You have to be really bad to go down with infinite missiles.

I played a game with a team of missile glitchers when Platinum first came out (I wasn't glitching, but they were). There were two glitchers, the host and me. They were so bad that we literally wiped and didn't extract. *sigh*.

Another time I got thrown in a game with glitchers, but they were pros. They had it down to art form. Two guys with strikers, lobbing them over the wall on White. Once wave 10 was over they wiped and went back to the lobby, presumably to do it again (I left of course). That match was somewhere around 12 minutes or so, I think.

I can't believe that it's back again (I haven't played Platinum since the early days when I was trying to figure out what it was). Who knew that there were so many ways to do the same exploit. Wow.

I use the Acolyte. I'm pointing if theyre using the Acolyte WITH the Striker.

Story of my life.

I don't understand how these people have been doing it for so long and it hasn't been fixed or they haven't been banned. Now with the N7HQ, we have access to information about players we previously didn't. Just from a couple minutes of browsing the top leaderboards, so many people are obviously missile glitching and the evidence is right there.
If I worked at Bioware I would be laying down the banhammer, but alas no such luck.

while looking for a 4th yesterday i spun the wheel of randoms

guy #1 had a mic and all the looks of a missile glicther. no equipment, elevl 14 character, striker and krysea
So i invited him to the party and asked what was up with the striker and krysea on platinum and he left the lobby and party

Guy #2 just plain was a bad player and bad teammate and extremly rude and immature

Guy #3 was actually a good player (no mic btw) after the game i sent him a message saying good game and he replied back thanks, you too.

like the RNG store, finding a random is all luck

I guess it is console issue i haven't seen single person doing that trick on PC.
The only major thing i saw was Krogan Sentinel killing enemies instantly with tech armor (and yes all enemies spawned instantly).

I've literally just reported 10+ people. Back to Gold, I suppose.

Can we get some feedback on this from BioWare? Is a fix incoming, or will we be waiting another few months for another patch?

I've never understood the whole reason behind missile glitching. 'They' say they do it to unlock ultra rare stuff, or max out their manifests, then they'll play properly. But how can a glitcher go from glitching to playing normally? Platinum would be way too hard for them since they don't know how to actually play it properly, and going down to lower difficulties would mean no more huge amounts of credits. So what do they do? They continue glitching.

It's a vicious cycle they will never break until they're forced to.
