I used to be an avid complainer about the glitching but after seeing the changes Bioware made that made certain aspects of the game harder and the constant release of crap weapons and gear for us to unlock I no longer care. Glicthers aren't going to ever spend at the store anyway and banning anyone for using an exploit you cant fix is crap on Bioware/EAS part. Since you paid for the game and services you should be able to use them as you see fit.

If Bioware really wants to get rid of glitching just give everyone a free psp or 2 as compensation for completely getting rid of the missile launcher. That will end the problem and make it way harder to beat the game.

Absolutely not. You agree to certain terms when you access EA servers. Abide by them, or glitch and get banned. Just cause people dont like a certain change doesnt mean you can just forego the rules. There are legitimate channels you can use to ask for changes.

A fair point it still in't right that they cant fix it and rely on players to report and catch the cheaters.  I myself won't cheat I'm not going to risk a ban on a manifest I put 500+ hours into but I wont be helping them catch anymore glitchers either.  Those I did turn in are still out there anyway so whats the point.

Missile Glitching = Quickscoping to me...

e-peen is the only thing at stake though in COD. Its still cheap though and an exploit rather than any skill.

We've got manifests and actual real money being traded to BW/EA/Sony/MS. There is an added layer.

Say you get a job at 10/hr and work your way up in 5 years to 30/hr. Then the boss's son comes in and does the job you did 5 years ago and starts at 30/hr.

Fair? :)

I feel the comparison is right though. Both are crap and I paid for my MW3 and Elite just like many have and have suffered through the people who assume they are Optic or Faze even though are bad as hell.......

I hate it and would rather they set aside lobbies for crap like that with missile glitchers and quickscopers... Makes sense to me, but I dont get paid to make these choices...

BW isn't beholden to them, and they have perceived money at stake. So instead of setting lobbies aside they can just ban them instead. They already have their money from the game purchase.

And if they really want to play mp thats another 10$ MP pass sale for BW. Having lobbies for them would be  leaving money on the table, selling a new ferrari for 5k, eating half a plate at a buffet, paying full cost when you have a coupon in your hand.

BW is in full rights to end their experience, so they will.

If in those five years the market is dictating that the job now pays 30hr then no theres nothing wrong with that.   Bringing your son fresh out of college and making him a senior vp now thats messed up.  You are right that glitching isn't fair to legit players or those who paid for spectre packs.

Just one question: I've never seen on the PC. This error is only for XBOX-360?

Lost heaps of credits due to d/c issues, missile glitchers helped get them back quickly and easily.

Can't describe the feeling

The funny thing is to even finish a game while glitching these people would have to engage in the same form of teamwork that would work normally on platinum runs.

DOH!

Also never ever understood why these people don't just make private games. Anybody who is dumb enough or a big enough jerk to deserves to get banned.

...and PS3. Seems to be a little more prevalent on Xbox, though. I've only seen a couple of glitchers on PS3 over the past few weeks.

To be fair i dont know how they do it but since i was gutted they stopped me camping in giant because they want me to play there way or buy packs then iv'e loved them lately as been getting easy credits......so in my mind it's what go's around comes around so stop trying to get people to play a certain way with there game.

haha fair. Its their game and servers and free content updates. You have the privelege of participating. If you'd like to then do so, but if not then no one is making you stay.

erm who said i was going? i said i love easy credits and would be a fool to not use people for it......

What does it say about the Xbox community when they're the only ones that have trouble finding platinum games without glitchers?

No, it's still bannable even with that turned off. They just can't see where you die on the map anymore.

How the hell are players STILL glitching missiles on Xbox360? I'm actually amazed at how there still is a way to abuse that glitch, or rather how there are people who are still desparate enough for easy creds that they seek a way to make the game easier through glitching.

That they have a lot more players to go around than PC and PS3.

Every lobby for the past 2 hours has been riddled with these people.

Good players avoid Platinum whenever there are glitchers, so you end up with the worse type on there.

It's such a shame they couldn't fix this like they finally did 7 months later the Vanguard glitch.

No.  BW has been extremely slow in banning people.  The last ban wave was in August.  Pissing me off...

My personal policy on dealing with missile-glitchers is to leave/try to kick if I meet them in a lobby. If I join a game halfway through with level 4 consumables on, I usually stay for no reason other than to regain the cost of my gear.

i say bioware deals with this the way rockstar fixed it with max payne, just make the cheaters play with each other and keep them out of legitimate games until they find a permanent solution to this debacle

This. They may get credits significantly faster, but at least it keeps 'em out of legitimate games.

No it is still a bannable offense, and you're still a fool if you think that will protect you. Just because you turned off logging doesn't mean the others you're playing with have, and their logs might still include your actions and handle. Especially the server's.
