Frankly, I do not believe anyone who says playing alone in platinum.
You need to prove to the community, with videos and a activated multiplayer manifest.

There are really good players here in the community, who showed us all how to do that, posting your videos.

guys page 2 where i linked his manifest i have checked all of them he is banned on the xbox mp account is greyed out if he made non check able since yesterday and he hasnt responded to me at all so we can consider him failed trolling and also alll games on the manifest hq site takes from regions so the uk/usa thing is false if you have a manifest on this game it will show up on the website

I'm going to have to agree with OP in the following sense: one one hand, soloing Platinum is vastly more difficult than soloing Gold. They just aren't in the same league. However, I'm torn on the banner issue. On the other, it would be preferable that people not have to jump through the miserable hoop of doing a 75-minute Platinum solo run, the single hardest thing in the game, just to get one banner en route to a dozen more. Banners in their current incarnation reflect time investment rather than skill. In fact, much to my chagrin, there's a freaking e-peen-number banner (what the ****, BioWare?). Given that, it doesn't make sense to require Platinum solos for the banner itself.

Instead, we should all just brag about our accomplishments here. Here's mine:
