without speccing anything into melee damage, a regular (krogan) heavy melee does not kill a posessed abomination right away, but it has enough force to kill it when it hits the floor
In theory, you can heavy melee them towards your team mates to see how many of them you're able to hit with the big KABOOM
To set the game up, simply kill all other enemies and have each team mate take turns to aim and heavy melee the PA's towards the rest of theteam mates (yes, mutual agreement is a must if you don't want to grief other players although admittedly, I did it while "testing" followed by a quick revive).
