Judging by the email you got from Origin, your account is very likely to be hacked. You need to get help from EA to get your account back as soon as possible.

This happened to me on Saturday, and today. Disconnected from a game, and I couldn't log back into Origin or BSN. Had to reset my password.

**edit** however my email to my account was never changed. but we're still having similar issues.

ze problem is ze face crap and ze icrap wich are riddled wiht VIRI and information stealing systems, so people who knowing your a fan of something on facecrap can thus be data mineed and have your online accounts stolen

the way to fix this problem is generally stop useing facecrap or icrap/crapple products, reformat your hard drive to eliminate the problem of cross over contamination or hidden root files and tampered AV systems (some of those darling VIRI do this a lot) or if your feeling flush get a second HDD to do everything VIRI related on and then pull that out (hot swap caddy) and use a different one for all your actual account info stuff as well as things like playing games etc

and finally get a new email account (use random one on a different email provider) to associate with your "clean" device.

oh yeah when your doing the hdd change make sure to pull out the cpu and ram and cmos battery then plug the cpu/ram back in and finally the battery in order to purge any memory resident nasties

or just buy a second pc so you have a clean one for doing things on that involve money and a "dirty one" for things like itunes, random downloads /youtube (some people on facebook like to embed payloads into the funniest vids) facecrap etc so any keyloggers and other nasties wont be able ot info steal.

like i have a facebook account with a facebook only email and all the details are completly madeup and i only ever go on there on my laptop through seperate ip address, and i regularly have ot disinfect that system since by the time the av product is updated to detect the "new" strains its generally already riddled thanks to one or more of my kids and there habits of randomly clicking on photo's /video links on facebook

also if any site tells you you must log in with the fakebook or twithead ignore not worth the pain of buying new computer or redoing your accounts etc and starting over. also change your passwords every 12 months or sooner.

if you didnt click the link in the bottom of the origin email to void the email address change then you would have lost your origin account to whoever was accessing it and changing the email address no matter if you changed the pasword or not, the only option now is to contact ea support and hope they reset the user data, i would suggest you start useing a different (clean) pc to setup and maintain clean accounts with like email, it's been years since i had this problem and that was down ot a facecrap hack which forced me to change all my online accounts although i contatacted micro****e and got lucky with it (they transfered all the data from my old account ot my new one whilst holding onto the blocked account and ended up taking down a large ecrime syndicate in conjunction wiht various other groups and law enforcement teams)

its not exactly unheard of for big companies ot get hacked especially games companies, thats why they suggest you dont save payment data on there services
