Now I just have to figure out how to attach the correct sound files to what I've put up.Right now their id comes up as -1 and I know somewhere on here someone posted on how to fix that.
Save the file and the new id will show up. I've done this entire process so if you continue to need help just ask here.

If I read right, each audio file for voice over is linked to its corresponding line via the id number correct? And that the game looks for a wav file that has the same id number.
If that's right then what I have to do is go into the game sound files. Pull the few that I need (mostly from party banter, etc) and figure out how to copy them and link them to the convo I made.

Ah, got that. Thanks now they have id's. Now what I'm trying to do is to use an existing voice over bit of Alistair's and just reuse it in the short conversation I created.

Ok so I've gathered you made a whole new conversation correct?
Now you want to pull original game sound files?
1. visit: http://www.damods.co...msg4216#msg4216 ....... it's a dos command line utility. You can use that to extract wav from any FSB files.
2. Once you have the game sound files you need associate them with the proper line ids in your convo and place all wav's into an organized folder in your override folder.
3. Then click "generate VO" and it will look for those line id's wav files in your override directory and create a new FSB from them.
4. then go to each line and click "generate face fx" from the top menu. That will create the facial animation along with the new wav.
Once you do this process one time it will be easier.
