Why Glacier? Wouldn't bigger maps be better if I need to spread the enemeis out, or escape a bad situation to regroup?

Pizzas and Escorts take less than a minute, and there is more than enough room to escape, even on Glacier. Which, as a Kroguard vs Geth, you only need when you get 4 devices on wave 10, tbh. Also, for the lulz, headbutt a Prime to death.ParatrooperSean wrote...

Might take a tiny bit longer, but exploding geth never gets old.

There is no such thing as a "bad situation" if you're a Kroguard vs Geth.

Worth a try. What about build, particularly with Rage supposedly being fixed?

Pretty much this. Bring incendiary ammo 4 along for the ride and you're golden.

Rage is fixed, but meleeing against Geth was doable before because..Kroguard. Compared to just charging and focusing on weapon damage with a Reegar, it's a bit more risky as you'll kill things slower and do less damage overall. It is, however, super fun.

Even with raged fixed, the shield boost from your passive is much more valuable. (You can use the recomended build on any difficulty or enemy, with the exception of collectors with which the kroguard struggles with) Now that rage is allegedly fixedthe added melee damage is a plus

You run around with the acolyte charge. When you see a group of enemies, just point at them and biotic charge. The acolyte will auto fire, and hit the enemy before your charge arrives, which will detonate a tech burst if possible. The acolyte is for softening groups of targets to help keep you in rage, which means higher damage reduction, and better survival odds.
You will want to take as high a shield booster and cyclonic modulator as you have, if you do not have a cyclonic modulator 3 then you may wish to buy jumbo packs till you get a few.
Lastly i would pick a big map like giant. Yes pizza deliveries will take longer, but they wont be any harder. Just charge nearest enemy any time you go below 20 percent shields.
The pros of the larger map are you can use the different movement speeds of the enemy units to naturally reduce how many units you are dealing with at a time. When you start being overrun, charge then sprint to the opposite end of the map and repeat.
The other pro is if you happen to get devices on wave 3,6 or especially 10. Devices are your enemy. If you get these you will be potentially very vulnerable while disarming each one. Once you get interrupted once things will slide down hill fast. You may be tempted to blast a few missiles and start disarming the device but it is very probable that it wont save you. The best solution here is to draw the enemy out of line of sight of the device for 23-30 seconds then circle back and disarm it.
Best of luck. Hope you get it.

That glacier is small can actually work to your advantage. Most large maps are more open as well, so 'escaping' doesn't always mean that you'll be out of the line of enemy fire. With the Kroguard, 'regrouping' also basically means using Biotic Charge.ParatrooperSean wrote...

I like Power Efficiency III for more charging, but either works about the same in the end.The Rainbow Reaper wrote...
I'll just beat the dead horse and suggest Krogan Vanguard with a Reegar. Incen ammo 4, cyclonic mod 4, and shotgun amp 3 and shotgun amp gear vs. Geth. Smaller maps are generally better for fast pizzas or escorts.

Anyone who says "It's easy to solo Gold with a Kroguard" can bite me. Those Bombers are f*cking bullsh*t.
It's so awesome that everything the Geth do either stuns or staggers. F*ck those things! I wanted to get my two Gold solos knocked out tonight, but I don't need more of the stress right now. Maybe tomorrow night I'll try for number two.
