I love this gun , I make heads pop faster than with any other gun and armored targets are a joke with it.

If it weren't for the strange aiming thing, it would actually be a very good shotgun.
The issue is that it doesn't exactly always shoot where you're aiming.
This. It's got amazing potential. The lag thing just ruins the hell out of it. I bring it to Gold matches on my Demolisher, and it's oh so painful when you miss a shot at close range.

- It's so heavy that you don't want it on a Kroguard.
- There are much better weapons for a shotgun infiltrator.
- Even a Destroyer with a stability mod watches this thing climb towards the sky.
- It seems to fire projectiles, which means it has travel time and misses more easily, and it's crap off-host.
- The crosshairs are just weird. Seriously. You can't aim this thing as far as you'd want to, not by a longshot.
I'm okay with a Javelin, but this gun is not a Javelin. It just doesn't seem to want to hit what I aim at, unlike the Carnifex. The Piranha and Reegar are great up close; this one... I have no idea what its range is supposed to be. I don't like it much at close range or long range.
I like it better than my Eagle I, but both guns are going to sit in my arsenal untouched unless some changes are made. I like my Hurricane III, and my pretend Valiant that I may never have, much better.

The Crusader exists so that something in the game with perfect accuracy can still miss when aimed properly, since the delay between triggering and firing causes that a lot. It also exists to make me miserable. Crusader X, and I absolutely hate the weapon.
My god, you wern't joking either o.0
I don't know what to say to that kind of misfortune.

As for my Crusader II, it saved my life more times than I can count. I've racked up impressive killstreaks with my Crusader II. Damned heavy, though.

It tends to work quite well with a damage-specced Tactical Cloak. The N7 Destroyer can also make it dance.

That would be a big assumption. (And doesn't any good-damage weapon eat through armor with HVB and Shredder? I would think so.) The muzzle climb is extremely annoying. It hurts my wrist. Even using a +30% stability gear didn't seem to make a big enough dent in it. Sure, the Raider has a good bit of muzzle climb, but certain characters/items can correct that, and it only has two powerful shots. Plus, I have it at X.SpineVomit wrote...
The Crusader with HVB and Shredder Mod completely eats through armour, assuming you can deal with the recoil and weight.
The Crusader... it's a real niche weapon. But I don't get who's supposed to fit in the niche. Who should I be using it with, if not the Destroyer, a Kroguard, or a shotgun infiltrator? Am I going to get the old Turian Soldier argument? Everything's great on a Turian Soldier, so I don't buy that as justification. One single character being able to use a weapon if you spec him right doesn't make it great.
It's just annoying to use. A great player could do a lot with it, sure... but more than the Claymore, GPS, Piranha, Raider, Reegar? I wouldn't really think so. Especially since it's more competitive with snipers--at least 2 of which have the same or better penetration already.
I don't think the damage should be increased, as when it hits it does good damage, but a reduction in recoil and weight are certainly not out of order, and it would be nice if it had 3 projectiles concentrated in a small area, rather than 1 finicky projectile.
It's nowhere near as inexplicable as the Eagle, but it could still stand to be improved in a few ways if it wants to compete with the Valiant or Hurricane and make more than a few people happy to get upgrades. As it stands, I agree with a friend who said the Crusader is a weird gun.

That said, I haven't found any other classes it works well with.
Edit: Theoretically, it could also be good for the Demolisher, due to its accuracy allowing her to engage in her usual camping shenanigans, but its versatility at multiple ranges allowing her to deal with threats while on the move for objectives or when fighting an enemy who has gotten close.

Comparing it to the wrong things. Those are all close-medium range weapons. The crusader is an all-range weapon.Wynne wrote...
