...the Graal has 3 shots, not 1. Maybe you should check your facts before comparing things.

The crusader is the deadliest shotgun overall, once you learn to aim with it and control its power. Its a beast in the hands of someone who is good at headshots and shooting from across the map. I've shot swarmers on rio across the map with the crusader. 

Its all about the aim, and honestly the people that don't like the crusader are usually the ones that can't aim with it.

I don't think a Promotional weapon should be some elite thing which has such a staggering disadvantage that only a few people can use it well. 

At least you can get used to the Javelin, because you can hear when it's about to fire. It's predictable. The Crusader is just strange, as this thread explains.

You might enjoy that odd invisible firing delay or whatever it is, but you're in a small club, and frankly, I don't think that's how it should be.

^ Well the description for the weapon does tell you it's for the best. But anyway, what really gets on my nerves is how it works. Sometimes I've got the crosshairs on something and shoot, and I'll still miss. Why does it have to be so accurate, it might as well as be an assault rifle or a sniper. The gun needs a circle for a crosshair; big enough so that you don't have to be pinpoint accurate, but small enough so that you still have to aim right. Also, since there's people pulling out all the statistics and ****, I'll go ahead and give it another try on my Destroyer. I haven't used it yet with the latest buff it's gotten.

Well, I love the Crusader. Been playing a lot of Geth Infiltrator recently, and really getting to grips with just how powerful it can be. Still trying out a few builds.

However, being the worst sniper in the history of the universe, I've always gone for a shotgun, and alternated between the Crusader, Claymore and, more recently, the Eviscerator. All three are a powerful follow up to a cloaked proxy mine.

But if I had to choose? I'd go Crusader right now. Sure, you have to be deadly accurate, but if you are, and there's three more shots before reload to get it right if you miss, then the target is dead when cloaked. It lacks the raw power of the Claymore, but the extra shots more than make up the difference.

"Must know how to aim" is not a staggering disadvantage. I think people get lazy when they play mass effect, thinking their powers will do the aiming for them so they don't even try. I think you should all give the Crusader a shot, you'll surprise yourselves.

the gun is sweet but it doesnt act like a shotgun.

in the hands of my friend (usually plays Turian Soldier.) he is a force to be reckoned with. he even out performs snipers sometimes which I find rather funny.




it definitely is NOT an easy weapon to use though. you need to be DEAD on with your aim or your just wasting ammo. but use it well....

This is excactly how I feel about the weapon.

I feel the same way about the claymore and the prothean particle rifle for example.

Why cant people just accept that they might not like every weapon but there are those who do?

The crusader has great damage and great accurazy, with the right playstyle and skillset, it can be a beast.

I mostly hate it because I seem to only get 1 shot in 2 actually connect but it does seem work on the Human Soldier vs Collectors... and if I can get it to work vs Collectors, someone who's good with it should be able to totally murderise them.

I have the Crusader V. I wish I had the Crusader X. Even at 5, whenever I use it I get comments about how they thought it sucked. It is beastly once you figure out how to use it.

Fire rate and reload speed are decent, especially for its damage. I actually like the Crusader. If there's an N7 gun to complain about, it's the Eagle.

I love this gun, at least I do now. When I first got it I really couldn't get into it, and cursed every time I was awarded one in the commendation packs. Gave it another try when I had it at level V, and something just clicked - it became a instant death machine on my Salarian Inf.
Now have it at VI and hope the commendation packs continue to favor it.

I think it's an excellent, unique gun.

- High damage
- High rate of fire
- STUPID fast reload
- Built-in Armor Piercing
- Lethal at any range

Yeah, it can be tricky to hit enemies that are close up. And it weighs more than a block of steel. SOLUTION: Slap it on a Krogan. Use it to murder anything mid-to-long range, punch anything that gets too close. Fun times.

Hey, the eagle puts most of the AR category to shame, especially with the new heavy barrel. Only problem with it is the fact it's bumping shoulders with the scorpion/acolyte in the pistol slot.
