I'm so super duper upset right meow!

First and foremost, I am a student in an Edmonton area business school.  One of my classes requires us to interview someone from the marketing industry and ask them a few questions about their experiences.  I decided this would be an excellent chance to talk to someone from BioWare.

Six weeks and 50 emails to the contact address later I am fed up. I decide it is time to go to headquarters and "kick the door down" in the most polite Canadian way: Tim Horton's doughnuts.

So there I sit in the lobby with 24 doughnuts only to be super politely and totally reasonably refused 10-15 minutes of anyone's time to help a super devoted student/fan!

Where do you get off refusing Tim Horton's offerings BioWare? I have alerted the Grand Poobah of Canada. You all have citizen ship hearings scheduled in the next Canadian month. Until this time, you are forbidden from eating any and all maple syrup products, back bacon, poutine and beaver tails.

If you wish to reconcile with me I am more than willing to do so. Maybe I will bring a fresh double dozen doughnuts once more or a pair of Oil Kings tickets this time.

Best regards,
ATR

(tl;dr version, last ditch attempt at trying to make a boring school report interesting and hoping someone from Bioware sees this)

Excuse, but I am an American, your brotha from down unda, so to speak.

...If you haven't finished those donuts, could you...you know...slide them over the border? :3

Also good luck seeing if you can get good ol' Bryan Johnson or Derek up in this thread.

Still laughing at this typo.

I'm still holding out hope it's an innuendo.

What kind of autocorrect changes that to poobag?

I would PM one or two of the people that are commonly around here, and see if that helps. The Twitters are another alternate avenue... it seems like a reasonable request, and exactly the sort of thing PR people and (particularly) community liasons are paid to do.

Now my office mate wants to know why I'm laughing.

Who would I PM?

My Twitter skills are less than satisfactory.

I imagine Bryan Johnson or Chris Priestly would be a good place to start.

Why post this in the MP boards? You should PM one of the mods, I am certain beyond reasonable doubt that it would be more effective.

Image IPB'd... so bad.

Most active place on the site I figured. Plus the ME3 story spoiler/non boards make me cry

Yes they'll see this then lock the thread. Maybe even ban you. I'm sure you could have just sent one of them a message without all the fuss.

Also as a quick tip in life: the success rate into getting something that you want by insulting that person or company will not pan out well.

I hope you can see how you approached this all wrong. Best of luck though Bioware devs are pretty nice from my experience.

Mmmm Beaver Tails. "Killaloe Sunrise"! Lemon and Cinnamon and sugar on a deep-fried pastry.
Also, eat them before they go cold if you're skating on the Rideau Canal. =)

They probably get visits from a lot of fans, even those who have some good reason to approach them. They may not be able to spare the time while on the clock.

Jessica Merizan would work too, as she is a community manager just like Priestly.
