Well, if the guy plays with a lvl 20 kroguard on bronze while having an N7 > 4.000 playing with an reagar, yes, than i look down on him, like it happened yesterday.

Since i have no leveled Adept anymore and since i wanna have the smg banner and just missing the shurikan, i played yesterday 1 round bronze to see how the shurikan works.

The game ended up with me on place 1, with arround 55.000 points, playing with a lvl 1 asari adept, just with a shurikan, while the lvl. 20 kroguard with the reagar just made 40.000.

OK, maybe i should not look down on him, maybe he really just has not enough skill. Well, i will never find out, since it was my only bronze match for a while, just switched to silver to continue lvl my adept and get the 100 % for my shurikan :D

Alawys thinking they are hot **** because they can beat that easy as hell difficulty! man, they don't know jack **** about difficulty

I have access to the secret difficulty! Where you fight all of the factions from wave 1(all boss enemies) and ****Harbinger shoots at you the entire time!
...

I probably shouldn't have said anything about that! Because now all you scrubs are going to be cluttering my lobby

^pc master race vs console. Exhibit A

In response to bold portion: We all do it's randomly activated, in PUG Gold/Platinum, sometimes from the very beginning or when a player leaves and a new one arrives.

ANYWAY!!
Now that I don't need to add an extra "e" to everything...

I may come off as condescending in the forums a lot, but I don't look down on people because of how they want to play their game...unless they are cheating, then that's just simply not okay.
I try not to be a jerk unless you deserve it.

I play bronze. I am not ashamed of that. I am a college student, who plays once a week just for fun. Do I feel like I am looked down upon? Yes. But I dont give a single F about what the others think   I look down upon players who are N7 1000+ (ok, they might not be good players, but that number says they are experienced players at least), come to bronze match with level 20 character and level X guns, put the full gear on and go on kills hunt, not helping the team... I seriously dont get those players.

If you're actually new to the game, I don't mind.  But if you've been playing bronze since release, I'd be a bit disappointed in your lack of wanting at least some kind of challenge to the game.

I don't understand why people would look down on bronze players. As long as they enjoy the game and feel a little bit of challenge still thats all that matters.

Not by me.

In fact I do still play Bronze, prefer Silver, and play Gold with friends.

The levels have their place. For me Bronze is fun for classes that I don't normally play (aka suck at), relevelling and new builds/guns. I also play on Bronze when my arthritis flares up and it is painful to move the mouse as much as needed on Silver/Gold.

I also find Bronze Collectors to be more difficult than Reaper Silver. Weird but true.

I mainly play PUGs, so often start the day on Bronze to try to find an ok team, then progress upwards. Often Silver PUGs are filled with players who can't cope with the difficulty, as most UUG are.

I've noticed (console) that if I do see some 1000+ N7 person in a bronze match, typically they don't play that well, So I assume they are just letting there kids play or something.

They gotta start from somewhere, I don't see a legit reason to look down upon them.

To each their own I guess...

On the BSN, yes. Personally, no. However, I do look down on people in gold lobbies who SHOULD be in bronze. Those fools need to GTFO and back where they belong

I don't look down on anyone. Some people play just for fun, others for a challenge. Mindlessly bashing mooks around in bronze is your thing? You enjoy it.

I personally don't look down on bronze players, in fact I still play bronze from time to time. I mainly use bronze to bring my characters back up to level. To me looking down on bronze players is just really petty and doesn't get anyone anywhere except doing the same vicious cycle of ego stroking. Although I believe if a person who is completely new to the game in a gold game, I believe they should be in bronze but hey, their funeral I say. Especially if it's stun-lock city (aka Geth).

I'd rather a new player was in a bronze game than with me in gold. Even some magical ME3 prodigy would come into the game with a terrible manifest. We all started in bronze and if you didn't, you shouldn't be proud of forcing others to carry your ass.

I'd look down on a guy with N710000 and a Particle Rifle X playing Kroguard in bronze but if you're new, it's no biggie. Have fun and fill out your manifest a bit.

On here it is at times, everything (weapons, characters, build effectiveness) is usually compared to gold.

I don't really mind the difficulty and play it everynow and then when I want to bust out a quick game without having to worry about my teammates (you never know what you'll get in PUG games).

And I still didn't get the part about bronze/silver players being unable to contribute to anything balance related.

Yes, the very best guns/equipment maxed out should be increasingly overpowered on lesser difficulties.

That doesn't mean that eg bronze og silver should be wholly unwinnable with starting guns/equipment now does it?

Also since some people mostly play there I'd like to think they were entitled to a fun game as well.

That an individual player could/should play a higher/lower difficulty does not equate that you cannot look at the balancing for a specific difficulty level.

Players are players regardless of difficulty.
No need to look down on any of them.

This type of thinking dissapoints me. Just because people don't find getting downed fifteen times while reviving their team mates fifteen times doesn't make them any lesser of a player.

Fun =/= Challenging.

I can play silver and gold, I just choose not too. I like playing Bronze. There is a lot less frustration. And a lot less cheapness of the enemies. I used to play Silver exclusively, but I moved down to Bronze with the last patch. They may claim they have done nothing to buff the enemies, but I call BS on that. And Silver Collectors are not Silver enemies. I don't care what you say.

Of course you are one mean death machine on solo Gold/Platinum.

Nice comfort explanation. #LOL
