No one should dictate what is fun. I plan to start doing a lot more bronze for the 200 wave banners. Bronze is just so much quicker.

i feel like the idea of this thread is what does it take for you to look at a bronze player and say wow they suck. for me its an n7 above 600. and i understand that maybe you are doing it because you dont want it to be hard, but i cant help what pops into my head. its not that i necessarily look down on bronze players, more i feel that people that play a lot should not be perennially bronze players. btw by my definition you are a bronze player if you are a detriment to your team on any higher difficulty.

bsn does not look down on bronze players. go ahead and count how many do and how many dont. also count the number of people who said that they think the bsn does but they dont.

I don't mind players on Bronze. We all started on it, and I sometimes go back to it to try out some builds and level up my low rank classes. Even though I most stick to Silver and Gold, Bronze is still a viable option for people.

i wanna defend this guy because he never said that the players are trash and they should get out, he said he is dissapointed in them. this is his opinion so you have to let hime think what he wants. i dont want to be condescending but for a lot of people including me, we are disapointed by this, its not that we require people to be very good and always go tryhard mode, its because for us fun indeed does equal challenge, and we are disapointed that this type of player has missed out on the opportunity to have as much fun as we did. mind you i dont mean this to sound condescending or elitist, but i have more fun on gld than silver and more fun on silver than bronze, i realize that not everybody applies to this, but i still "feel" it regardless of what i can say.  i can kind of understand but at the same time i can never because what applies to me is challenging=fun
please do not bash people that are not afraid to hide there thoughts and feelings and do it in a respectful way.

Never played bronze myself after that first game (Insanity campaign made it too easy to be interesting for me).
I have no issue with people playing the difficulties they have fun on.

What's important is enjoying the game the way you like to play it.

People talking down to others are best avoided and their rude comments not taken personally.

I too have played and extracted on Silver, Gold, and Platinum and have been playing since the demo.

I play mostly Bronze because I enjoy it as do many of my MP friends. Most of them are better players than me. We each have fun in our own way.

I like taking my Volus onto bronze with a claymore and typhoon for the lulz and its actually pretty fun. I will throw on an efficiency mod so that I can at least use shield boost more than once per wave.

Which is why I stick to bronze/silver so I dont have to deal with that elitist crap. I enjoy the small matchs with the limited amount of time I have.

Can I play gold and plat? Sure I could. But I just dont want to as too many people are too anal about what each person should have their build or what weapons you should use. If you dont meet those requirements odds are they boot you. Even with me scoring top two with well over 100k most times with my toons.

Its crap and I choose not to deal with it.

Not by me, that's for sure. I was a bronze player once. Thankfully, I found a few gold players, sent friend request to them and they helped me improve my skills. Now I'm doing the same thing with the exception that I'm the one who sends friend invitations to bronze player who made a good impression, and I help them beat gold and improve their game, coffers and inventory.
