Thats incredibly narrow minded, especially with previous posts completely debunking this theory of yours.

its not narrow minded there is not a single person that currently plays bronze that with work and effort and maybe a little help cannot become a decent gold player

So you mean to tell me, if they can handle themselves in Gold, thats what they should be playing? Thats the narrow minded part. People should play however/whatever they feel like (unless of course, its breaking a rule of some kind). I can hold my own in Gold games, but I play bronze mainly. Why is that? Because I want to.

WHY is it that so often I see players come down to Bronze from Silver+ to clear the map and waves, and basically steal those potential kills and credits away from them ?? Wow, that's a real confidence builder for them !!

Not to argue, but that's not how credit distribution works. Everyone gets the same credit prize at the end of a game.

Bronze peasants should stay where they are. I will not tolerate their disgusting presence in my sacred Platinums.

and as for the "remember your roots bull, I started on platinum, making me untainted by the peasant Bronze and Silvers.

/sarcasm.

Here's the thing about Gold/Platinum. Basic Strategy that is used by anyone who is good at gold and Platinum (With the exception of a couple people who I actually respect). Nuke the spawns at the beginning of the rounds. Run around the map and take a couple pt shots at an enemy and run away and hide for a few seconds. Run back out take a couple more pot shots and run away again.

That is not my idea of fun. That is why I play Bronze/Silver. I can run head long into enemies and just murder them all. I don't have to run away with my tail between my legs because I'm afraid of going down.

If they are looked down on, then it's only a grand display of arrogance on the others part. But, that is typical when it comes to MPML gaming.

A lot of people, including myself, play Bronze because that's what we PREFER to play. I've played Silver and some Gold, and they just aren't the style of play that I prefer. Bronze offers a more relaxed game play.  Being hyped and tense isn't what I'm looking for after coming in from a 10 hour day at work.

Let's flip the other side of the coin now. I've played many Bronze games where the other players aren't that experienced, or just not too great (even tho they may have a high rating). Generally I will lax off of my play style, so that they can get the extra kills and credits, or to help them out when they get in trouble. WHY is it that so often I see players come down to Bronze from Silver+ to clear the map and waves, and basically steal those potential kills and credits away from them ?? stealing credits? everybody gets the same credits except the if you extract 10% more thing, im not sure why you think that credits are based on score. also are we really gonna talk kill stealing again. go back to mw3 ffa if you dont like kill stealing. its a freakin coop game. there is no such thing as kill stealing

Read my post above. Some are already skilled enough to do so, but they dont want to. He would have them playing it the instant they can handle themselves, instead of playing what they want. Just because they play bronze doesnt mean they cant handle higher difficulties.

Who are YOU listening to??

Nuking spawn points means you lob a nade in there and open fire, everything dies.

And CAMPERS take pot shots and hide. NOT players.

The typical strategy for gold? Work as a team and eliminate the enemy. NOT camping.

Where does it say that?
I can play Gold all day, does that mean I ONLY play Gold? No.
It means I CAN play gold.
That's all they are saying is that everyone CAN play gold with enough practice.

There is no such thing as a "Bronze only player" because with time EVERYONE would be ABLE to play gold, doesn't mean that they will.

Just because they are ABLE to do so, does not mean they HAVE to. If they dont actually play Gold, I wouldnt call them Gold players, even if they can handle Gold. I can handle Gold, but I play Bronze mostly. Do I call myself a Gold player? No.

I wasn't talking about nades.. I was talking about using your missile launcher.

Every Gold match I have tried to play was played this way by everyone in the match. And most of the youtube videos I have seen with people playing Gold/Platinum have been doing this as well.

It's just my observation. I've never been in a Gold match where people are actually running around killing rambo style. Everyone is running away from the enemies more than they are fighting the enemies.

I play a lot of bronze. I can hold my own on Silver and Gold, but I like warm up on bronze. The main problem I see is that the bronze game is entirely different. On bronze, it's just a race to get to the enemies to see who kills them first. There's no tactics, none. Bronze is very forgiving of the stupidest ****. Habits learned on bronze can get killed fast on higher levels. I don't look down on bronze. It's great fun. But, it's not the same game.

Lot of other people do. When people ask whether you are a Gold player, they ask are you CAPABLE of Gold, and willing to PLAY Gold, not is that all you ever play.
For example, I am a Gold/Plat player, but I solo Bronze/Silver, PUG Silver, and only play Gold/Plat with friends. Most of my games are Silver. But I am capable of higher difficulties, and will join those matches when my friends ask.

Gold level players that prefer bronze are still gold level.

Its not puting words into your mouth when it certainly seems like it was implied.

Eh, I guess its what people interpret as. I personally would ask if they can handle it, not ask if theyre a Gold player. When I read/hear "Gold Player" I think of someone that mostly plays gold.

*facepalm*

You have reading comprehension issues? No one ever said they HAVE to. We said that there is no such thing as a "Bronze only player"
No one will be stuck at bronze their entire life. Period. Just because someone is more comfortable AT bronze doesn't mean thats all they can do...

I agree with this. It's why I tend to be last in Bronze even thoug I've gotten full extractions on all difficulties - because I prefer to move around the map, control enemy spawning, kite, etc. I just can't move as fast as those other guys and in a Bronze PUG I'm automatically useless and they kill everything first.

Maybe warm up on Silver for Gold matches?

Awkward moment...

Bronze lobby with a level 5, level 18, and level 12 all under N7 100 and level IV or less weapons, maybe a rare thrown in. Suddenly, a level 20 N7 400 shows up with UR X weapons, Level IV ammo, Level V gear, and immediately checks the ready green state. I have yet to see a PUG game not simply freeze in time for 5 minutes due to the other players going "OMG WTF do we just watch him play and that's it?"

Its a difference in interpretation of the phrase "Gold Player." In my eyes, it means one who plays Gold mostly. In your eyes, it seems to be those who can handle Gold. In my eyes, im a Bronze player, as that what I play most. In your eyes, I would be a Gold player as I can handle myself in Gold.

I have no problem if you stay at bronze and move up when you are ready. the problem is lots of newbs try gold when they shouldn't really even be in Silver, low or high N7 is the same as long as you have skills.

If they join my Gold/Platinum matches.

Yes.

I don't care if they stick to Bronze and move to Silver, but skipping to Gold is a huge no-no.

The only problem I see is when they venture into gold when they are not completely used to the game. They can play whatever difficulty they want just use a power class that way you can contribute since alot of the early weapons will make it hard to kill things on higher difficulties.I don't look down on any player for playing a difficulty they feel comfortable with as long as they help out the team with revives and objectives.
