Image IPBImage IPBI found out how to fix the exception raised issue with the mac version and I finally got to play. So if you haven't been able to even create a character just like me just follow these steps. (EA customer support takes a while to get but their actually quite helpful)

First, make sure you are logged in with an account that has administrative privileges.
[Optional] Start the Dragon Age: Origins launcher.
[Optional] Click on De-Authorize. Your current machine will now be de-authorized from playing the game.
Note:
If you do not de-authorize your computer before you uninstall, you will
have to re-install Dragon Age: Origins in order to de-authorize your
computer later.
Open a new Finder window and open the Applications folder from the left sidebar.
Find the Dragon Age folder and delete it.
Now, click on the Hard Drive icon on the left sidebar.
Open the folder with your Username on it.
Open the Library folder.
Open the Preferences folder.
Delete any files that reference Dragon Age.
Click on the Documents folder on the left sidebar.
Open the BioWare folder.
[Optional] Back up the Dragon Age folder if you wish to keep a back up of your saved games.
Delete the Dragon Age folder.
Dragon Age: Origins should now be completely removed from your system. Image IPBImage IPB

Then just redownload Dragon age and once you install it might not work. So follow the steps again maybe 2 more times and you'll get it ^_^. Now I have a level 2 rogue dwarf
