In honor of the adorable little volus being added to Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer, I decided I wanted my own plush little volus doll. The little guy just looks so cute, I can't resist.
I'm commissioning a friend of mine who does various sewing projects to make a prototype for me;
so I was wondering, would anybody here be willing to buy something like this? She's already making the prototype, might as well see if there's any interest in making several.
I can't give you any pictures yet, but I'll post them as we brainstorm and she makes further progress on the project.
In the meantime, just think about this:

Erm...I love it, but isn't the Volus Bioware's private property? I'm sure you can give them away and make one for yourself, but the moment you profit on using someone else's trademark...well...you get in trouble. :-/

I was about to say what setrus said. Selling something based on Bioware's intellectual property is a good way to get sued. But saying that, I will also say:

I'm not sure I would buy a volus plush toy. But a krogan, I'd buy that for my youngest daughter in a heartbeat. She likes krogan. But is scared of turians. Go figure.

Probably not, the Volus were probably my least favorite race. :3 Not meaning to sound rude. >_<

I don't know what I would do with it anyway. D: But by all means go for it. Anything ME2/3 is worth having.

isnt it forbidden to sell such stuff from registered trademarks?

id buy one of course..

For the most part.
This is just gauging interest right now, I don't have a tangible product to sell (and it wouldn't be me that was selling it anyways).
I'll look into the legal issues and see if there's some way to do this without violating copyrights. Not sure if there's an expedient manner in which to broker a licensing fee or whatnot.

You clearly haven't played any ME3 multiplayer recently. You should see how cute the Volus look, fighting side by side with the likes of Krogan and Batarians.
