Well done!

I've only manged three Bronze soloes to extraction wave, of which only two extracted. I can therefore not agree that Lone Wolf is an easy achievement to get.

Great to see players trying this. Well Done! I only recently did Bronze solo myself so I know how you feel. Used N7 Fury FBW Cerberus myself. Solo is a little hairy on challenge waves isn't it? Now if only I could figure out how to do gold...

Kroguard:wizard:
He can take an insane amount of damage which makes him very forgiving for mistakes, plus you have charge to restore your shields or get away from messy situations.
Ideally run in circles so everything follows you in circles. That way you don´t have enemies all around the map and you have always "safe" places to retreat. Don´t stay too long in one place because then enemies will overrun you. Leave bosses as last to kill. Run(retreat) whenever it gets heated.

Thank you! I will try this soon :P

I gave my kroguard Cyclonic Module III / Disruptor Rounds III / Strength Enhancer III / and the Armored Compartments III gear which granted me 2 extra missiles.  Played the geth on Ghost map too with the piranha.  I was lucky in my objectives that I got hack/escort/hack... the best 3 I found for this particular solo.

Basically my rotation consisted of charge / melee x3 / charge without pause.   Wave 9 I found definitely the hardest and used 2 or 3 rockets when I got swamped my primes/pyros and bombers as well as a couple of gels ><.  OH THOSE BOMBERS!!

Stayed down the back during extraction and kited them until the last few seconds and made a run for the LZ.

Seriously... I dread wave 9 like a mofo!  Hope you give it a go.  Good luck.

Nice job and I advise you to try silver solo then gold then platinum :)
I know that I'll do it once I have my internet back.
edit: that is the build I would use with slayer, try it next time. just dont forget to equip armor piercing or warp ammo 3 or 4 + other equipment and ure good to go :)
scope gives exactly the same thing for talon as smart choke for every shotgun in the game (smaller spread, better accuracy)

How do you not have the skill to play gold normally but can solo it?

There are certain combinations which are very powerful in general. Take a Krogan Vanguard against Geth and it is very hard to lose due to the incredible amount of shielding he has. As long as he keeps charging, a Kroguard can maintain 9125 effective barrier refilled every 5 seconds (or 11230 for most of the time -- it's complicated). The Geth in simply lack the firepowerpower to slow him down. They have no sync kills to worry about, so the Krogan can just charge with reckless aplomb watch everything die.

'Course, the reality is that you're just looking toward the top-tier classes and cherry-picking the best situations. Most platinum solos are people abusing Infiltrators and their insane overpoweredness (especially the new Turian Ghost) to run in circles around maps slowly wearing down their opponents -- only a select few people are skilled enough to do Platinum solo with the lesser classes.

//EDIT: Re: the Krogan Vanguard barrier values I just stated, those are for level 6 Fitness specced for shields, Barrier enabled and maxed (9125 is cooldown at rank 6, 11230 is damage resist at rank 6), Cyclonic IV, and Shield Booster V gear.

i'm glad you said this.   a lot of people brag hard about their solos, when they are exploiting aspects of certain classes ....   not to say it's easy - it's still definitely a challenge and one that i still struggle with.

but you can't discount ANY solo --- a normal bronze solo (without kroguard/infiltrator/etc) is plenty challenging.   not in that the enemies are bullet sponges and deal a ton of damage, but it's unforgiving.  yo have to play smart.   you have to be careful with how you move and funnel enemies

Nice work OP.  any solo takes skill (real skill not just manipulating the game to your advantage), even bronze.

Good job man, that's a big step. All the other difficulties are just more of the same, it just takes longer and you have to pay more attention haha

Great job. I finally pulled off a bronze solo last night with my QFE on Hazard Reactor verses Cerberus, with a turret speced with Cobra missles, and a Argus/Tempest weapons combo with an Expert Package III as my only gear, so I know the feeling.

It's the first step, but the feeling is nice.

Are you able to tell me the best way to spec the Kroguard?

And thank you to everyone for your congratulations and support Image IPB

I remember when I first solo'd bronze. It was 2 or 3 weeks after the ME3 premiere. There was nice weather outside, really hot and sunny. After a dinner I poured myself a glass of Cola and I turned on ME3. After going to multiplayer (good old times when entering multi from main screen took only few seconds) I realised I have a lot of credits, so I spend all of them on 2 Veteran packs. I really lucked out, Mantis X. "OMG, I ARLEADY FEEL THIS POWER" - I thought. Full of energy and enthusiasm I started to soling bronze. Salarian engineer, reactor, geths. 30 minutes later the only thought in my head was "OMG OMG, Only few shots in Prime and I can took it down, I'm unstopable sniper god".

True story.
Now I can solo bronze in 10 minutes that way, gold in 30 mins, but it still not change anything in my life. I'm still unemployed

Good work. Now try with full Phase Disruptor specced for armor against the Reapers. 'tis superior methinks.

Dump Carnage completely. Spec Biotic Charge for Area/Either/Barrier, spec Barrier for DR/Power/Either, spec class skill (Krogan Battlemaster) for Capacity/Either/Weight, spec Rage for Shields/MA/Either. I'm currently built for Weapon-and-Charge focus, so I specced Weapon Synergy in Charge, Cooldown in Barrier, Power Damage in class skill, and Health and Shields in Rage.

For weapons, bring something light -- Reegar X or Piranha X are ideal, but your N7HQ says you only have a Reegar V and Piranha II. I would go with the Reegar V or your Wraith I if you don't like the Reegar (Wraith is lighter than the other two).

For gear, you don't have a Shield Booster, so just bring a Shotgun Amp. Consumables should be Cyclonic IV, Shotgun Rail Amp III, and either Incendiary IV (esp. Reegar) or Phasic III.

And do, not, do not, do not think you are going to die and run away. It will never work. Just keep charging. It's the Krogan way.
