Appearance:
The Lineans are Reptilliand and Humanoids. Their skin is shades of green or blue. Their average height is around 2 metres when fully grown and 1 metre when they are in their youth. The Lineans are only male making them a mono-gendered species. Their heads are spiky and resemble a mohawk.
Information:
Their homeworld is filled with dangerous predators bigger than elcor. They live in groups similiar to tribes scattered around their homeworld, Kalien, which is in the Attican Traverse. Their planet is mostly ice and the few areas that are habitable are jungles. Blizzards occur commonly at the ice but the jungles can get very cold. The most established part of Kalien is the city called Kasoto, which is named after Kasumi Goto, who liberated Cerberus forces from the uncharted world.
Affiliation:
Attican Traverse and Citadel space. They usually like to keep peace around their homeworld.
Military:
The main military force is made up of squads of 8 that grow close together and can co-ordinate attacks. Soldiers are raised from birth and Lineans usually use tech to gain the advantage. Lineans have traded with the Collectors giving them advanced tech material and armor. They have access to very high energy shields and their armor is crafted in such a way to commemerate Kasumi Goto.
Hope you like it, I'm not very good with ideas and stuff, but I love writing stuff like it LOL

A neolithic civilized humanoid that hasn't yet invented the weel nor organised enough speech to determine it's own name as a species with a unique past.
The blights ancestor where artificially created 45 million years ago as a organisme specifically designed to infect other lifeforms and destroy all bionic lifeforms (assumed it was a scorched earth technique for husks). This technique proofed to be more destructive then even the reapers and both the virus, it's creators and any reaper that landed on it's surface died. Afther that the reapers performed a orbital strike to sterilize the planet. Leaving a radiactive ruin scattered by molted cities and 32 dead reapers.
Somehow life survived but somehow perhaps by a failsafe the organisme managed to write inside the genetic code of all living things their own paragraph with in it coded the history and major achievements of it's creator. So even today all lifeform has in itself a fragmented part of book with their story of origin and scientific secrets of their creators in them.
Altough this fact has not yet been discovered by any of the mayor species.
The species itself is omnivorious with a lifespan of 30 years but is not harmless as it produces viral spores that can kill bionic species, and degrade badly isolted mass effect technology.
The neverborns
Based on the quarians but several cycles before it a other species where developing a VI world where they could upload themself to obtain inmortality (as a computer program) for a time everything went well and the death and the living managed to life realitivly well together the living could upload in the virtual cities where the death lived and the death could enter avatars to visit the world of the living. The massive amound of data that needed to be stored however had always been a problem and the data bank needed to be upgrated constantly the maintain a functional (digital) world, but they managed and the digital world was undistictive from the real world however it suddently started to resemble the real world to much and the enviroment that was created to be hospitable to life created lifeforms of it own. These lifeforms modeled themself afther their (death) creators but where in fact neverborn. This caused a over crowding that was threatening the cripple the program and prevent anybody else from uploading in the system this caused a panic as the living feared to become mortal again and the death feared they would lack the memory to experience any new events and stall a war resulted between the creators and the neverborns that devastated both the physical as the digital empire and neither site recuperated before the reapers came.

Official name: Jalicara Divine Dominion
Homeworld: Kelimar, Lamari System, Pegasus Nebula
Appearance: The Jalicara are skinny, reptilian looking creatures with saucer-shaped, horned heads and chameleon like eyes. They have suction cups at the end of their thin fingers and toes and they can climb on walls and even ceilings. They have sharp, spear like darting tongues that they use to kill small prey animals on their homeworld and also bring them to their mouths. They sometimes use the tongues as natural weapons, as they can unexpectedly blind an enemy that is facing them. Jalicara are nimble and acrobatic and can move faster than any other known species, which makes up for their lack of strength. They are about the same size as humans, and live for about 80 years.
Society: Superstitious Theocracy. Jalicara evolved on an extremely hostile planet, with brutal and huge predator species(think of ancient earth with dinosaurs, only even more vicious), where they evolved intelligence just to stay alive better. This planet was also in the previous cycle one of the planets that belonged to the densorin, a prothean ruled species, which studied the then primitive jalicara and other fauna of this hostile planet. The ruins of their "sky cities" were still in place when the Jalicara learned how to use it all to their own advantage.
Today the ruins have turned into the jalicaras sanctuary, that keeps them above the rest of their violent world and thus save. This gave birth to a theocracy, devoted on worshipping the unseen "gods" who "build and gave these cities for the jalicara", that still governs and rules over their civilization with an iron grip.
Jalicara believe they are the chosen beings of the universe and thus were pretty upset when contacted by Citadel the first time. Declared "demons" and "deceivers" by their leading priest caste, the Citadel races soon saw that befriending the superstitious jalicara was almost impossible. Thus they were abandoned, becoming a Terminus race by default. Reverse engineering what they had found left behind by the now extinct densorin, the jalicara have expanded into space, that they think belongs to them by divine right and because of their generally fanatical ways, they are considered a threat to any species they come across. They also think any prothean relics they find belong to them, thinking of them as more gifts from their "gods".
Affiliation: Terminus Systems. Their main region is near Pylos Nebula.
Some more open minded Jalicara(yes these exist) have relaxed their believes and travel the galaxy in the greater Terminus Systems, living on places like Omega or Illium, sometimes finding work as assasins or artists, tough they still suffer from the reputation of their dominion. These "heretics" can usually never return back to the dominion, which they really dont mind that much after learning of the opportunities the galaxy brings to those that exist beyond the dominions stranglehold.
Military: The jalicara have some small fleets which are usually at war with other minor Terminus species such as rhaelans, hama'kal, djerro or tolithians. They are highly fanatical and stubborn in any conflict believing only in their own truth and faith.

Official Name: Tolithian Interstellar Syndicate
Homeworld: Sildhis Prime, Dishmir System, Tartarus Pit
Appearance: Tolithians are an exoskeletal species of humanoids. They evolved this way as did most life on their planet to be resistant to its many hazards, like radiation, acidic rains and volcanic activity. Their exoskeleton is pitch black and they have blood red, glowing eyes and mouth, giving them an intimidating look. Their face is skull like. Tolithians sometimes wear hooded cloaks, that make them look even more intimidating, especially to humans, who liken their appearance to "wraiths"(pic here for reference). They are omnivores and live for over 200 years.
Society: Tolithians evolved from a species of hunter gatherers on their hostile homeworld called Sildhis. They, like most other species, have waged war on each other for centuries, however because of the terrain and conditions on their homeworld and their high intelligence, cunning became a key element in establishing dominion over others. Tolithians who were more ruthless and smarter survived over others and they began to employ manipulation and lying to control their world. Leading an enemy into a carefully planned trap, manipulating opponents into opposing camps or inflitrating and destroying them from within is how tolithians usually go about with their wars.
Tolithians exist in a society full of secrets, schemes and political maneuvering, where criminal overlords have as much power as ruthless politicians or sinister corporations. They used to be a Citadel race, paying lip service to their high ideals, but certain scandals that were exposed forced them to leave and become a Terminus race. This wasnt particularly liked by the power hungry tolithians, but the council simply decided they were too untrustworthy to continue as members. To this day the tolithians harbor a hatred for the Citadel, especially against salarians who exposed their practises.
Tolithians are known as the brains of the terminus, always gathering or stealing information, technology and manipulating other governments. Some in the Citadel fear tolithians have an ultimate agenda for Terminus systems and the future of the galaxy that has been brewing for decades, tough even their best spectre operatives have not found out anything. Most people dismiss these as conspiracy theories and think of tolithians only as a fringe threat.
Affiliation: Former Citadel, current Terminus species. Their region is rather large, stretching between Phoenix Massing and Rosetta nebula, centering on a dangerous and much avoided part of the Terminus space known presently as " The Tartarus Pit". Tolithians are mostly active inside Terminus, being rarely seen elsewhere, unless theyre spying. The Shadow Broker finds tolithians brillliant if somewhat risky agents.
Military: Tolithians have a relatively small military, but their intelligence services rival those of salarians. Tolithian colonies are usually at war with other minor races of the Terminus, like hama'kal, jalicara or rhaelans, tough they usually stay on top using brilliant tactics and bluffs. They seem to have some sort of deal with the batarian hegemony, tough much is not known.

Official name: Djerro Anarchate
Homeworld: Oskanius, Askar System, Phrygian Epsilon Cluster
Appearance: The djerro are a furry semi-humanoid species from the windy world of Oskanius. The djerro have long arms ending in strong hands, strange peanut shaped bodies and a lump like "head", with no neck. They have 2 diamond shaped eyes that are situated vertically rather than horizontally making them look rather weird and their mouth is a single gaping hole with tiny circular teeth. They are a little shorter than humans, reaching 1,64 meters at tallest. Tough they are short, they are surprisingly strong with their hands that can crush the hard shelled fruits of their homeworld, and some djerro pirates have been known to easily beat up and strangle a turian or a human with their hands.
Society: Djerro evolved from herbivorous fruit eaters that lived on the huge trees of their homeworld. They evolved like most other species, eventually forming governments and religious states. The rich and powerful gained control of most of the planets wealth and the differences between social classes widened as they developed.
However there was social unrest after they reached the status of spacefaring species, regarding the intentions and honesty of their governments and religious leaders and the increasing gap between social classes, even tough the potential wealth of their solar system could now be tapped for the prosperity of all. Ultimately nothing was done to correct this, the blind and incredibly greedy djerro leaders and elite, used to their power and position and not wanting to give it up ever, continued to gain power and wealth while the rest of the social classes lost it more and more. class war was imminent. Unlike what the djerro elite tought, their military could not stop the avalanche that was coming.
This class war further escalated into an interplanetary war that eventually devastated their home planet, destroyed most of their cities and nature and broke up their whole society. What was left was the remnants of the surviving states and new idealists, forming their own separate groups, each with their own idea how to lead the djerro people to the future. Their devastated homeworld is full of these groups and in there it is a constant cycle of skirmishes and temporary truces.
Modern Djerro have no government, they are basically a collection of anarchist groups, some which are friendly and others that can be rather violent. Some djerro operate as violent gangs and space pirates in the Attican Traverse and Terminus Systems, while other groups have sought sanctuary inside Citadel space. However, like the quarians, the djerro are not looked upon kindly there. Some asari, human and shekhmu colonies have taken in djerro groups that have intergrated into their societies, mostly as farmers or workers. Still many see the djerro as a slowly dying and vanishing species, and most dont want to do anything about it. Djerro and quarians feel sympathy for each other regarding their similar situations.
Some rumors have surfaced recently, that some alien powers might have had something to do with the class war that ultimately broke the djerro down.
Affiliation: Terminus species by default. Aside from some social organizations, the djerro in general dont really have any friends anywhere and struggle to survive in a galaxy that seemingly doesnt want them or care about them.
Military: Djerro have miscellaneous military bands depending on their group demographic. These are usually in constant struggle of survival with each other and other galactic species.

Offical Name: Vatura Kingdom
Appearence: A purple liquid found at the furthest reaches of the oceans, the Vatura are capable of taking any shape depending on their task.
Information: The Vatura homeworld was once populated by a land based race that mysteriously dissapeared 50,000 years ago, since then the Vantura have kept within the furthest reaches of the oceans avoiding contact with any races they classify as intelligent. At the bottem of the oceans are mass concentrations of organic materials which the Vatura use to construct their habitats. Since the dissapearence of the land races the vatura population have risen to over several billion.
During their first attempt to explore the stars the Vantura found themselfs caught in the Rachni Wars, mistaking the vessel for a Rachni ship the Asari attacked and destroyed the Vatura ship. Since then the Vatura began construction of hundreds of vessels designed using a material called elemant zero in preperations to retaliate.
Constantly building new forms of ships as the years went by, their planet become the guests of several Leviathans. With the arrival of these beasts the cities and ships that been constructed instantly lost power. Unable to resists the vatura have become pawns of Leviathan.
Afflication:
Leviathan
Military:

The Iolon (Joh-lon) is a short mammal species standing just a tiny bit below the volus. They look like slimmer koala bears with slightly longer snouts, a large and sensitive nose and six large eyes covering almost 360 degrees around them. Their bodies are covered in short, fine fur.
Their ears are agile and quite large in proportion to their size. As a result, their hearing is extremely good. Somewhat unique for a mammal, they possess two sets of antennae on their head that senses temperature and pressure changes through delicate, transparent hairs distinct from the fur on their antennae.
They have canine fangs in the front and on the sides of the mouth, with molars in the back. They have six limbs with koala-like hands/paws, all with six digits - four regular fingers and two opposable thumbs, making them excellent climbers. Each digit has a short claw.
They also possess a venomous spur within a sheath just below the hand on each wrist that can be ejected about the length of their wrist. The venom paralyzes locally, and is only lethal if injected into vital organs. They also have three sets of long spines on their back containing the venom as well, to protect their backs and dissuade larger predators from swallowing them whole.
They can live for roughly sixty years, and biotics are somewhat common.
Their homeworld, Samat, is home to creatures far stronger and far more vicious than they are. They came out on top thanks to their pack mentality, and evolution ensured they began to use tools to survive against larger predators. During the stone age, they drove most of the apex predators threatening them into extinction, building cities in the treetops and cultivating fertile plains for agriculture. Eventually, they learned how to build from stone, and began to construct large monuments, walls and other structures that still stand to this day.
The Iolon united as a species long before they began to develop nuclear weapons. Because they believed in the community, the solution to dwindling resources and cramped spaces was not to wage war, but to take to the skies. Etenar, Samat's third moon, was close to habitable. Technology was developed specifically to turn it into a world fit for habitation. Later, they spread to their other moons and the planets further out in the system. On Idros, the sixth planet in their home system, they discovered a prothean observational outpost, containing enough technology to allow them to develop FTL spaceflight, 1800 BCE.
Within a few centuries, they had found other pre-industrial species inside the local relay network. These were uplifted, and the Iolon founded a pan-galactic community with them that they called the Mulasaani Union - mulasaani being a term meaning "Many Different Packs". The Union was headed by a Secretary General, who could be chosen from any of the member species by the Union Assembly.
It took several centuries before the Union made first contact with the Citadel Concord. These two pan-galactic entities would later become allies against the kadecians and batarians.
Iolon society is built around community. Individualism is very rare - instead, packs serve as entities. Individual iolon who perform admirably raise the reputation of the pack. The singular exception is the Rakaanu, the iolon Special Security Operations. Much like Spectres and the STG, Rakaanu operatives work alone, which is part of the challenge. One such operative is Imasan Nalokai (Note: reboot squadmate), who is dreaded by the other galactic powers.
Militarily, they rely on defeat in detail and hit and run attacks. Being small, fast and very attentive, they are very difficult to corner. Their excellent agility also allows them to cover terrain that other species have difficulty crossing. While their size is an asset in battle, it is also a liability. They cannot use larger weapons, and have to rely on smaller, less lethal weapons. They also cannot carry as much equipment. This is a drawback they have overcome by fighting alongside the other species in the Union.
The iolon economy is strong, and relies greatly on production. The unity and cooperation of society's working packs and the focus on a strong community working towards the welfare of the community ensures a powerhouse of an industry. Iolon goods tend to be cheap, reliable but not particularly high-performing or innovative.
The iolon government is called the Assembly, and is a direct democracy with representatives who present the vote of their province. A matter is voted upon, with each pack deciding on a vote. These votes are then collected in the community, and passed upwards through several layers of society to the government. Though it is the most fair system available, it is also very slow.
Culturally, the iolon are much more individual, though packs tend to like the same things. They produce movies, music and other forms of entertainment and art not unlike their Citadel counterparts. Their scientific endeavours are mainly guided by demand, not curiosity. Unless technologies are needed by the society, they are unlikely to be invented or researched. The same goes for engineering and production - iolon do not want more than they need, and they view the greed and insatiable tastes of the contemporary powers as social oddities.
The iolon worship several gods across several distinct religions. Most communities have their own religious traditions, though one religion is shared by all - worship of the protheans, which arose after they discovered the outpost on Idros. The iolon call them the "First Pack". As a result, iolon and hanar get along very well, even though their interpretations of the protheans are very different.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Kadeci (Kadee-tchee) is a tall, insectoid species greatly resembling earth mantises. They stand almost 2.5 meters tall, and has two robust arms and hands with six digits, one thumb and five fingers. Their legs are digitigrade, and their feet has four prehensile toes and a fully functional dewclaw on the inner side of the foot. In addition, they have two raptorial limbs on their lower thorax (the equivalent to a human abdomen) that look much like the raptorial limbs of the mantises they resemble. These are used to hold prey close for consumption. They also have a lower tergum abdomen, which tapers and consists of overlapping segments.
Their heads possess four mammalian eyes, a departure from their otherwise dominantly insectoid anatomy. They have nictating membranes in addition to their normal eyelids. The eyes and the eyelids can move freely, much like the eyes of a chameleon, giving them a 360 degree vision. Their pupils are triangular in shape (google "Air dancer boomerang" to get a clue how they look like).
They have four antennae on the head, two longer and two shorter. Their mouths consist of two lateral mandibles, each rowed with small, razor-sharp teeth. Food is chewed by the labrum and labium, the upper and lower lips, with two upper and two lower maxillary palps aiding eating and tasting. They are capable of speaking the languages of other species.
They possess both an exo-skeleton and endo-skeleton, with a higher density of muscle fibers than most other species, including krogan. This is because Kantos, their homeworld, is a high gravity world.
They communicate verbally, with high-frequency sound ("droning") and with pheromones.
Unique for insectoid species, the kadeci give birth to live young. Eggs form, incubates and hatches inside the mother's womb before they are born. They are born in litters the kadeci call "broods". They mature very quickly, requiring no more than four and a half years to reach the first stage of maturity. At that age, however, they are not mentally mature even though they can engage in rudimentary communication. The kadeci subject their broods to grueling trials of violence referred to as "swarms", with the survivors earning the right to reach the second stage of maturity. Swarms cause some kind of change in the brain that unlocks its potential to develop further, but the physiological cause behind this change is something the kadeci keep to themselves.
After having become "bloodied", the brood studies and train to hone their skills, with their mental capacity increasing exponentially. At fifteen years of age, they have the mental maturity of an adult, thinking, acting and reacting at quick speeds and with extreme precision. It is at this critical stage that they choose their profession and "Path", the course in life that they will correct themselves to.
Kadeci value individualism above all. It is the goal in each kadecian's life to master their Path. One who does is referred to as a Paradigm, and is considered a hero in the Imperium.
Kadeci biotics are common, and natural stockpiles of element zero on Kantos meant that the kadecians developed FTL at the same time as they became a flight species, around 2000 BCE. Because they reinvented this technology without aid from the protheans, they developed a superiority complex towards the protheans, who was given the knowledge of FTL by their inusannon predecessors, and the species cultivated by them such as the asari, turians, salarians and humans.
Highly expansive, the first kadecian extra-solar colony, Tuoch, was the homeworld of a primitive species known as the nuuak. The kadecians assimilated the nuuak and integrated them into their empire as a servant species, using social indoctrination and conditioning to ensure their loyalty. The next species they encountered was primitive as well - the vatarsh of the harsh world Canos, which was turned by the kadeci into a swarming ground and military training world.
After two and half millennia as a spaceflight species, the kadeci encountered the Citadel Concord shortly after their war against the rachni had ended. The Council invited them to the Concord, but the kadecian ambassador rejected the offer and made it clear they had all intentions to annex Citadel space in time. Inspired by the quarians and their geth, and defiant against prothean warnings concerning AI, the kadeci created their own species of synthetics, known as the Mutaru. They entered service on Deunast, a lush and resource-rich colony world close to the Concord's borders, and was baptized "The Eternal Army" due to a unique nanomachine swarm repair system that greatly prolonged their combat vitality.
The kadeci later declared war on the Citadel Concord and the Mulasaani Union, allying with the batarian Adir'rukhan Hegemony. Though they had the initial advantage, the quarians struck them a great blow by equipping their geth soldiers with signal devices that could replicate the IFF-system used to control the mutaru's repair swarms. It effectively allowed the quarians to steal the kadeci's greatest advantage away from them right under their noses.
Though mutaru units were recalled and the design oversight fixed, they eventually lost the war. Without pressure from the mutaru, the krogan invaded and seized Khar'shan, forcing the Hegemony to capitulate. When the new mutaru units entered the war and was overwhelmed by the full force of the krogan, the kadeci upgraded them to true AI in an effort to turn the tide on the Concord.
Though they achieved a stalemate, the intelligent mutaru abandoned the frontlines by sending a formal surrender to the Concord. The kadeci hunted down their creations and attempted to destroy them for their betrayal, but was surprised to find that the mutaru had evolved beyond their abilities (thanks to a desperate alliance and technology from a certain Nazara). The Imperium was being ripped apart in a civil war with their own creations, which later spread to the rest of the galaxy. It took the united fleets of the galactic powers to finally drive back the mutaru to Deunast, where they were bombarded with nuclear fire for nine consecutive months. When no more heuristics activity could be detected on the surface, the war was over.
In spite of their overwhelming losses, the kadeci have grown since the war, and still maintain their intent to annex the other regions of space - but now, they are more subtle about it.
The Imperium is an autocracy, with an Emperor or Empress serving as the sole political, civil and military leader. The Emperor has an Elder Paradigm Council to help him with crucial decisions, and is protected by the Emperor's Chosen, an all-biotic elite force that serves as similar role to the Roman Emperor's Praetorians. Poor Emperors tend to be assassinated by the Emperor's Chosen, and thus the Emperor often consults his Chosen off the record to get advice on how to rule without infuriating them. To become an Emperor, one must first be a Paradigm.
The kadecian economy is strong, supported by a powerful war industry and rich production of resources, trade goods and ships. Kadecian wares tend to be reliable and innovative but does not perform as well as salarian goods. Scientists work around the clock to discover new technologies that can give them an advantage against their rival powers - most technologies are adapted from the military to civil use.
The kadecian military is powerful, but a shadow compared to the strength it had with the mutaru on their side. Though they have plenty of good ships and a large army of well-trained, battle-proven troops, their experiences in the two preceding galactic wars have left them wary of rushing headlong into war. The expansive aggressiveness of the humans is also rumored to have pushed back kadecian war plans several decades. When they do wage war, they employ attrition strategies and tactics, attempting to overwhelm their enemy with green troops and moving on to veterans when the green troops retreat and their enemy is weakened. They can pummel fortified positions into dust given enough time.
Their society is very spartan, and only Paradigms have the right to indulge themselves, eating good food, purchasing expensive art and furniture and living in higher class areas with larger, more extravagant residences. Watching televised swarms is a popular pasttime, which is seen as brutal and inhumane by the other galactic powers. Kadeci can bet on individuals within a brood that are likely to survive - biotics tend to be safer bets than non-biotics. One thing all kadeci can indulge is gardening - though Kantos is defined by its reddish orange marble, mortar and steel, it is also known for its beautifully tended green gardens and plantations. Kadecian silk fabrics tend to be popular outside of the Imperium.
Kadeci only have one religion, and they do not worship a god, but a celestial event called the Eternal Swarm. When the end days are nigh, the Paradigms of kadecian society will ascend their mortal coils and join a swarm so large and so fierce that it will consume the entire universe. When this great swarm ends, the universe will begin anew, with the bodies of the slain Paradigms turning into the cosmic dust that will form stars, planets and eventually new life.

Are there any more new species in your Regenesis that youd like to share? For instance what are your Terminus races like?
I developed my own group of "minor" species based on what the codex said of Terminus in ME1 that are now the tolithians, batarians, djerro(partly), hama'kal, rhaelans, vorcha, wryz(thought in war times they would probably stay as neutral arms dealers) and jalicara. Plus of course the salarian lystheni off-shoot(which I havent touched yet), the miscellaneous krogan and criminal elements of other species. Makes Terminus alot more threatening, doesnt it? This is the Terminus I expected from the talks on how the council was nervous of provoking them. Yet in the games we barely catch a glimpse what the true Terminus Systems are like.

Official name: Xi-Num Planetary League
Homeworld: Dra-El, Sin-Daol System, Cerulean Nebula
Appearance: The Xi-Num are a humanoid species with an aquatic origin, tough they have both lungs and gills, allowing them to breath in water and on land. They are the tallest humanoid race known, reaching 3 meters in total height. Xi-Num have webbed feet and fingers. They dont have a mouth or a nose but 6 vertical "slits" they use to suck in and eat airborne and seaborne small organisms(Like certain whales eat). They also have a cluster of eyes on the middle of their forehead, making their faces look extremely alien. Xi-Num dont like arid environments, and too dry climates are fatal to them without some sort of enviro-suits. They also need to rinse their bodies in water at least once per 2 days, or their skin dries too much and they become sick.
Society: The Xi-Num are an old race, one of the first to achieve spaceflight in this cycle. They are highly spiritual beings and in their society patience is considered the greatest virtue. The Xi-Num also value silence and they usually dont speak unless they have something worthwhile to say. Some humans think the xi-num remind them of Buddhist monks of Earth.
The xi-num evolved on an ocean world known of its many paradise like islands. They left their world to explore the stars but explored slowly and patiently. They were contacted by the asari before the rachni wars. Their strange language provided a challenge to xeno-linguists, as in its natural state without mechanical translators similar to what the hanar use, it sounds like whistling or singing, often reaching ultra sound.
They are one of the rarest species to be seen in the Citadel, prefering their own terratories to interspecies worlds. Many xi-num work as Citadel bureaucrats, lawyers and scientists and they are also known as excellent star cartographers and navigation specialists.
Affiliation: Citadel, have an embassy. Xi-Num region is located on the north eastern side of outer council space.
Military: Minimal. While they have their own trained military and fleet, it is not suited to wage large wars. They usually hire asari, turian or shekhmu mercenaries or security companies to guard their colonies and outposts.

The Uuu
Physiology: Mercury-based lifeforms that originate from a planet rich in Eezo, making them natural biotics. They don't require any sort of atmosphere to live, and can thrive off of extracting nutrients and minerals from anything around them, including air, water, rocks, plants or animals.
Appearance: Their natural state is simply as a puddle of silver liquid metal, though with their innate biotic abilities they have the ability to mould their liquid bodies into different shapes. The preffered shape taken when dealing with other species is as a floating sphere about the size of a beach ball. Generally speaking, there isn't much differentiation between each individual, though some may take other shapes for the ease of those around them, such as cubes or replicas of other species.
Society: Their society is fairly simple. They congregate into a singular mass, some the size of small lakes and some as large as oceans, and communicate between eachother. They communicate by vibrating at different frequencies, making the land around one of their gatherings shake and emit a dull melody of different pitches. This sort of society could easily be mistaken as natural phenomena, and it was for a long while until a Turian colony on their homeplanet noticed a mass migration of Uuu clearing paths with biotics and moving in ways atypical of non-sentient liquid. War is almost unheard of between Uuu, as congregations are usually formed on the basis of shared belief, and their shared philosophy is to live and let live, not imposing subjective viewpoints on others.
Affililiation: After the Turians discovered their biotic potential, they conquerd the Uuu and made them into a client race. Most Uuu live on their homeworld or Palaven, many of which serve in Turian Cabals or in heavy labor. A handful of Uuu searched for asylum in the Terminus system or even in Geth space, though these sorts of groups are uncommon.
Military: By themselves, military is nonexistant, but they do work with Turians in their military and several more vengeful Uuu have taken to becoming Mercenaries in hopes of retaking their homeworld.

Im starting a series of descriptions about the minor species in Citadel Space, that recognize the councils authority in interstellar matters. These species are known in the galaxy, but they hold very little power if any to sway the council, they are still waiting to gain embassies on the presidium, some have waited for centuries. Rachni wars took a toll on many of these species.
Some species have minor embassies and populations down in the wards, but they are rarely seen. Many of these species have small terratories, token fleets and only a few colony worlds.
Im leaving out known species like the drell, or recently dioscovered ones, such as moluvir and raloi.
Ankaaru
Race of furry, multi limbed platypus like beings. Live on a tropical planet, that has cities both above and under water. Master builders and architects. Contracted by various Citadel Civilizations. Prefer to stay on their homeworld and colonies most of the time. Still waiting for an embassy.
Bezerin
Centaur like race with elongated snouts and horns(Think of the shifty looking cow and you get an idea how these guys look). Evolved from herd animals. Rather frightened to deal with outsiders and dont like space travel too much. Bezerin are rarely known and seen in the galaxy and they prefer this, staying as invisible as they can.
Cirulians
A species of jade colored humanoid aliens with antennas. Ecological and pacifistic. Cirulians have social restrictions for the birth of children so that their planet can support them, making their population rather low and static. Cirulians are usually involved in galactic programs that aim to preserve different planets species and ecosystems.
Dhoun
A conquered species of plated, wide humanoid creatures with 6 eyes. Now a turian client race, they fill the role of many hard laborers in the hierarchy. They are considered to be simpletons by other species(theyre kinda like pakleds), despite the fact that they are a spacefaring species, something the dhoun dont like. Dhoun were the first turian client race that were conquered and absorbed into the hierarchy decades before the turians were contacted by the Citadel.
Esvati
A quiet, self centered, subterranean race of slug like beings. They evolved on a world where life florishes in the many underground tunnel networks and the surface is bombarded by their suns strong radiation and multitude of meteors. Have a very few colony worlds, and prefer to stay inside their own region.
Firuun
A curious and humorous race of gliding simian like beings from a forest world in the Skyllian Verge. Famous, or infamous however you wish to see it, as jokesters and comedians in Citadel space.
Next patch of 6 minor races next week. Stay tuned!

Short, furry warthog like creatures from a snowy ice world. They have a slowly working and rather bureaucratic society, with a lot of posturing and political maneuvers. They are not too widespread in the galaxy, prefering their own terratories.
Huldraemi
These are green, big starfish like plant aliens that stand on 3 ”legs”. They have a single eye in the center of their body and a single mouth below it, tough this mouth is not used for eating, only for communication. The huldraemi gain nourishment from the soil and sunlight that they absorb. They are known as merchants and informants in the Citadel space.
Iomatans
The iomatans are a grey skinned, large headed humanoid race from a planet thats atmosphere is toxic to standard oxygen breathing species. Iomatans themselves have to wear breathing masks when on the Citadel or other worlds. They come from a highly disciplined caste based society, where children are assigned their societal place from the birth. If parents do a good job they can buy their offspring even better positions in their society.
Joh
The joh are a physically fragile species of aliens from a low gravity world. They use many cybernetic augmentations and service bots to better their lives and strenght. The joh are one of the species in Citadel space with high expertise on AI and computers. The geth rebellion has tought them a lesson tough and the joh are extremely careful in handling AI now. Still accidents can happen...
Ke'Kchoon
Species of pterosaur like avian reptiles. Ke'Kchoon are one of the few sapient species capable of natural flight. Ke'Kchoon are a highly religious and ceremonius race, and are rarely seen outside their ”holy” terratories.
Krikis
The krikis are a race of red, ”semi-insectoid” lizard beings, resembling something between a gekko and an ant. They live in packs, where the dominant male and several of its female cohorts rule over their many young. Their society is based on family, or ”pack” owned enterprises that compete with one another. Many of these have left their homeworld and now reside all over Citadel space, doing business with other species.

When the Protheans observed Humans first using tools, they decided to abduct some of them to keep as pets for leisure and study. Brought to a Prothean supermetropolis, many Humans became feral and escaped forming their own communities in the gutters of society.
They appear as a subhuman species, prone to physical acts of violence against outsiders as well as one another. They dress in whatever junk becomes available to them and are obsessed with large shiny trinkets. They are able to use modern technologies such as vehicles but have no sense of control.
Their speech is harsh and slurred. They speak quickly but their language consists of only a few basic phrases.
Their facial features are often gaunt from consuming toxic substances, and mutilated from birth and acts of violence. Their mouths are incapable of making the shapes used for many sounds most Humans are capable of, their teeth are in dreadful condition, if there at all.
Their society has no concept of 'work', rather they rely on handouts from higher species or simply steal what they want.
They breed like diseases. Each individual having at least four offspring by the time they're twenty.
They have no concept of humility, guilt, honour, sacrifice, grace or style.
Surprisingly there is a music culture observed in this species, however it is hard to recognise as music to any other species as there is little to no rhythm, technique or harmony.
Oh actually I realised that this species already exists in the form of chavs.
Never mind.
