Only three it seems...
I tried to replace the dog with 'No name - Spoiler' (Bardess?), not sure of her name since she happened to be around for only a few seconds.
Does that mean she is gone for ever, with her smile and I suppose all of her quests?
Am I to be facing this impossible choice between her and No name - Spoiler? Do those Bioware's people hate us that much, really?
Or did I just miss something...
That wouldn't be a first...
As much as I enjoy one of the best story and game I've ever played, and I played... a few, I find this "Make your party" DA:O screen very uneasy, as it happens right after that fight in the tavern, one I barely came out with my life of, and no possibility to make any save in between.
Oh well, life is better than gaming I suppose...

(I made some research but found nothing... just in case some would love nothing better than complaining, as always... ;))

A new comer to DA:O... after living with NWN1 for... years... Some could say a traitor, a deserter, I suppose.
And a very impressed player I must say.
Very beaucoup. What a game, what an OC story...
I don't think I ever played such a beautiful character.
Too bad playing on a Mac seems to forbid me the use of most of the many community add-ons...

(& if anyone finds the time to tell me why neither NWN1, NWN2, DA:O signs show under my forumer portrait... and if it matters... I would appreciate.)

Merci.

Your profile says that no games are registered to you. It matters only in that there are 'spoiler allowed' areas that you may not post in. Which means that there is one potential companion that is not even allowed to be mentioned here.

Oups... sorry.
Thanks for the warning. I hope I edited it right.

I now have three companions plus myself.
Is that the limit?

No, there are more. But at a time, you can choose at most three of them to go questing.

You can change your party sometimes by clicking the party icon, which is located on the right hand side of the menu-bar across the top of the screen. If memory serves, the party icon is an imagine of 3 golden humanoid shaped 'things'.

You usually won't be able to change your party in situations like the middle of a battle, or even the middle of a quest; Although, I think there are chances to change your party at certain points during quests.

I usually only change my party at camp myself, which can be accessed by opening the world map and traveling to your camp, which is always located at the top right side of the map.

So, I hope that's cleared up for you. When a character is removed from your 4 man party, he/she simply hangs around camp whilst you and your chosen 3 for the day fight whoever it is you have to fight.

That's really a very smart game, and girls are finally beautiful. All those new features are all I've always dreamed of, in earlier Bioware games of my heart. Of course, I just should have waited a few more minutes before posting stupidly, like always... even if it might remind you some of your own unforgivable beginner's haste. Even that "party" single inventory is a gift. Not to mention its smartness.

Thanks, very much.
