No, it does make sense, you're just a... mad Hanar. The MP community is the community that pays for it by playing MP and using the microtransactions. On top of it the SP weapon packs always include new weapons that MP doesn't get. If you want that to be free, you need to go back to 1999. Demanding that it is free is demanding that Bioware doesn't pay the people on the SP team who make the new weapons and import the MP weapons properly into SP. That is, you are demanding a handout that is funded by a different group of people who have 'pay most of the taxes' so to speak. If politicians are allowed to call people on unemployment entitled for the exact same core reasoning (dubious when it is used in this way), then someone who is ****ing about some peripheral weapon pack in a single player video game is assuredly acting entitled (because it is in no way integral to them being a productive member of society). So yes, you are being entitled and whinny Mad Hannar, not about the ending of ME3, but about the weapon packs.
