I'm one of the few people who liked Anders, I guess.

I think they should bring him back. He was the canon LI, after all (just like Cortez ).

Anyways, I actually want Anders to be in DAI even when I kill him.

Same.  I loved Anders in both games.  And I liked Seb too.  Weird.

I also ran off into the sunset with Anders, but TBH I was playing a Hawke just as fanatical as Anders.  They'd pretty much hit Villain Protagonist territory by the time I was through with them.  In a perfect world, my Inquisitor would get to put them down.

Justice is not a simple concept, and most demons/spirits were simple concepts -- Desire, Pride, Sloth, Rage. They simplified Justice when they personified it. It had a singular response to anything that deviated from its dogma of righteousness.

Eventually through quasi-retcon, they renamed Justice to Vengeance and focused it on blind anger. They still got it wrong. Instead of Vengeance or Justice, they got simple Rage.

Justice was too big of a bite for them to take. They need to stick with primary concepts of Human behavior and emotions.

They didn't retcon the spirit Justice. Vengeance is emotional, to seek recompense of some sort against the person or persons of whom you were a victim. Justice is devoid of emotion and is the result of punishing a criminal/wrong-doer without prejudice or bias. 
Vengeance is Justice, perverted and corrupted by Anders' hate and anger.

Truthfully though, the spirit Justice should be a spirit called Retribution (similar to vengeance but is not emotional and is carried out by a third party with no emotional connection to the victim for whom retribution is being sought), because that's how it acted normally. It was essentially The Punisher with a sword & shield.
It saw things in black & white with no concept of shades of gray, and didn't believe in rehabilitation.
Our Warden can potentially make it into a true personification of Justice, but when it joins with Anders it is turned into the spirit of Vengeance.

Glad to see someone else thinking the same way. Pretty much what I expect too: I want "my" Anders alive, and if anyone else have him dead in their games, it's only fair he stays dead for them.
