Wave 9, gold...everyone is dead but me. I am trying to finish the wave. I´m running around the Condor in quite pathetic way since I am a bit panicky player when soloing wave. There are like 50 ravagers, 10 banshees, 20 brutes and bunch of mooks. It takes really long, like 5 minutes, maybe more during which I get downed two times and I constantly smash stim pack button. I intend to save banshees for last moment but then...I get grabbed by one. All this effort for nothing, I think, while I am starting to cry. And then tadaaaa...literally in last second of kill animation, I get killed by Marauder

I finished the wave the old way...with missile launcher.

So I just want to use this thread to express my love for Marauder Shields <3
Once again, he saved me.

When I know I can screw up for others, I get nervous.

And I also soloed gold with kroguard on my favorite map, which is the most ideal situation. :innocent:

Saving you from a Banshee sync kill is the only thing Marauder Shields is good for.

I still feel more important than you, OP.
Marauder Shields saved (my) Shepard from shooting the Catalyst. Pithy price that I had to reload my save, because I also couldn't shoot something else.

Shields is little-known nowadays, because the banner of holding the line has fallen to Reaper corrruption.
But those days were glorious, in their own way. Charities, for christ's sake! A charity was founded from this community holding the line.

And Shields was our banner. Now... Now, they're twisted. When "Retake ME3" once lit my heart ablaze, it now makes it run cold. It used to be a tenth or less of us who liked the ending. Now it's the other way around...
Ack, I'm babbling over the Internet again. All we need to know is that, thanks to that movement, we have the power to save the galaxy. And the choice in how we do it.  (I'm in favour of theoption myself)
