Dude, I´m playing since release (and even the demo) and I´m still only rank 420 (with 241h played) .. you want to know why? Because I cba to wipe ALL my characters in one class when I only want to change one characters build. I just use those reset cards instead and I promote only when I´m "forced" by some weekend event.

Well, generally, this kind of demand is satisfied far beyond your initial wish : they might create a new banner with a new title "The whiner" with cute pink unicorns, and i'm not sure it would fit your badass N7 rank

i played more hours than you and only got the game a few months ago, granted i played the sp campaing for 100 hours but according to the n7hq i played 100 hours of mp, yet origin says i played over 500 hours (i suspect theres something amis wiht both of them) then again your n7 rank now goes up like a rocket when you complete challanges so soon there wont be a reason for none promoters not to have a high n7 number unless there not doing any challanges either >>

  That's kind of my point... I have already done the "work" a
few times over    ...but yes, this has turned from a quick little
gripe, into an attack on me personally - due to the VAST amounts online Testosterone/bravery.
I know they Can’t retroactively put the kills, maps, etc….  on the file, so I was inquiring and griping
about something else.  No worries.

This isn't complicated:

If they have a "low" N7 rating, but a banner, it means they've worked harder than you have to get it.

I've gotten my Mathemagican Banner by actually going out of my way to play Bronze solo-games all by myself, and only using the weapon/ability I'm trying to do the challenge for. So yes I did do a Bronze game by myself only using Shockwave to kill people.

If you're just playing the game normally and aren't doing anything different, then you'll get a banner sure... but way, way more slowly that going out of your way to actually get the banner in question. If you don't use Biotics then of course the Biotic God banner won't just fall in your lap.


TLDR: Other people are working harder than you, that's all there is to it

You however, sat here and whined about how others are earning interesting new rewards, and where's yours? Maybe if you went and played, you would get them.

If anything, the only people who DESERVE something in recognition of their past efforts, are the people who first beat Platinum at Comicon. And even then its kind of hazy because of the limited access to comicon anyway.

400 hours isnt even that much, compared to the real veterans of this game.

OP. I see your point BUT-

I am only N7840. I have played since the demo was released.

Here is what my manifest says now:

Time played: 481H 19M 16S
Games played: 1343
Leaderboard: #27,560 (Top 3%) -N7 rank
Leaderboard: #86 (Top 1%) - Ach. Rank

I have 5 or 6 banners now.

You want the pretty banners? Well do what I and everyone else did to get them.

It's really pretty simple. Not sure what you are ****ing and moaning about since you are not a special snowflake where you were the ONLY one who played the game and had to start at zero for banner and rankings.

You want the pretty stuff? Earn them. You did NOT earn them before the system came out because they did not exist at that point in time. Now they exist. NOW earn them.

Don't look at it as something to **** and moan over, look at it as something new and exciting that you want and have a reason to play to get them.

Turn that frown upside down!

My thoughts.....

N7 is not a measurement of time or skill.....many like myself simply didn't promote unless we had to, screwed up a class and using respec cards was not an option.

The Challange system is new, the hundreds of hours I played before this system came into play, I didn't expect a thing in return, I am very thankful for this new system and love it.

Someone who is new that can get the banners quick because of their skill, I think that is awsome and more power to them.

And I to have been playing since shortly after release, what other people can do, what they have that I may not, doesn't bother me at all, I live life the same way,

Well, you tossed your ****-n-moan out on an internet forum the BSN where people are pretty good at ****ing and moaning... so... you have to know you're going to get a lot of ****ing and moaning back at you... just because you preface it saying "I'm going to **** and moan here" doesn't mean you won't get responses. 

So, if you're not prepared for the attacks and diarrhea-of-the-mouth that will follow, I would have to recommend that in the future you either don't post, or just post your rant to get it out of your system, and then ignore your thread.

What kinda erks me is this...  seeing a N7 rank of 300 with a banner.  I have played WAY more and invested hundreds of dollars getting the cards and fighting and nothing really to show for it (Banner wise)....    

Give somthing to your Loyal vets that have been around and stuck with y, we deserved a snazy banner too .....*cries like a little girl*:?

I’m prepared I guess….  I just forget that ALL ages play this game
and was kind of hoping for SOME sort of possible, “Hey, that’s a fairly valid
point ( MOST LIKELY ALREADY MADE) we are looking into that”.
