the banners measure your efforts to get challenge points, which was added on retaliation, this have no relation with what we did before. Plus, what make you believe that the guy with N7 300 isn't playing since day one, and didn't expended as many dollars as you did? N7 only grow if you promote, did you forgot that? If you are playing since day one, and have N7 2000, you don't promote that much as well (one of the guys I play with have N7 14000), in other words N7 means nothing...

you did complain about people with lower N7s having banners and you don't which again i proved N7 means nothing.anyway if you want to discuss the banner thing, then no. who cares. It makes it more fair to new people anyway. Eveyrone started form nothing. plus most challenges can be grinded out and don't take skil anyway so all of it still doens't mean much. It is cool to look at though

...wow, how many idiots thought this was a low N7 bashing thread or were dumb enough to comment only on that small point of the TC? The main point here is that someone who play since the beginning can't have something others who are new can't get.TC was probably aassociated N7 rank with timed played, which is true a lot.


I feel it's like working a job for 5yrs and making the same wage as the new guy. It's a little bit of spit in the eye. Like they don't for loyal employees, ie gamers.

Wasn’t complaining about that at all...  I was using that as one of
my few foundational stances for my main point. I could really care less what N7
Rank you have....  NOTE though that the N7 Rank is there for some odd,
unknown reason.  My point is that I performed these Banner pre-requisites
50 times over and I am now on par with people that just purchased the game...
 am I whining yes, do I care about people commenting on my whining....
 not in the least     ...this is a video game   ...this
is a thread   ...this involves ages from 4-80 and across all level of mind
sets.

Your first post is rather rude and demanding, for lack of a better word(s).
The new challenge system has nothing to do with your N7 rating, or how much money you've spent.
It is based on playing the game and unlocking banners by using powers/guns etc.
Just because you splashed cash doesn't mean you deserve something more than someone who worked for it.

I don't have one yet either, but I expect to have Shotgun Mastery by the end of the week. Working on a couple others as well...Blood Pack, Combat Mastery, and Reaper Mastery. When I get those, I'll set a new group of goals.

You know...you could probably have Mathemagician or Biotic God pretty quick if you focus on them. I sometimes wish I had started with those, since people seem to be getting them the fastest. But I'm halfway through my shotguns, so I'm not switching gears now...

I know that...   I know what is the
"NOW"   ...my point was that I had ALREADY done the work over,
and over and over again. Someone new comes in and does the work once, and wham
- cool stuff <_<



I'm almost done with Reaper and SMG, so no
worries...  this was simple gripe that turned into a fun, weird, WTF moment on a few occasions due to the
vast diversity of the people here(some good an insightful, others are just
fricken out in left field somewhere).

i'm in the same boat as you. i mean my speed farming weekend befor the DLC was enough to beat every platinum challenge in the game. but i'm not complaining. its all meaningless. i play for fun. and if i'm not playing for fun aymore i wont play. I don't care what number people see on my GT or what epople think. i want to have a good time w/o ruining the fun for others

N7 rank means nothing.
I upgraded my characters constantly, until I lost the motivation to do so.
I have friends of lower rank, playing as well as I do, simply because they quit promoting their characters before me.

The fact that you have invested money also means nothing.
Frankly, why invest money in a store where you do not choose what to order?

I'd buy, IF I could choose the items of my interest.
The store also is the most ridiculous the whole game.

Players earn their banners, playing.
Money does not count.
Having played so many hours before, also does not count.

And that does not bother me.
