I think the reapers stopped off at a burger joint on the way to earth...most people got off the citadel then..while the reaps werent looking...

after some burgers, fries and a few milk shakes...the reapers all piled back into the citadel and got back on the road...

it wasnt till they got around mars did someone say...hey..where are the kids? did you leave them behind?...

then a big argument broke out about who left who behind and when and where...

then harbi said...dont make me stop this citadel...and come back there...

then it got real quiet...all the way to earth...

except for the catalyst...who kept asking...are we there yet?...

There's rumors that there will be another SP DLC to explain this

We are getting a Citadel DLC after Omega. It was in Levi files. It will happen. The files are already in the game now if you have Leviathan installed so yeah... we will probably find out then as I am guessing the Citadel DLC will take place after Cerberus Headquarters but before Earth and we will fight through Reapers on our way to the core to learn more about the Keepers and their role within the Citadel.

Though judging by the pile of bodys in the shape shifting logic defying creepy tunnel of doom, it's safe to assume they all died.

It bums me out to know that Conrad, the Tiptree veteran, the girl who lost her parents and possibly even Aria all met cold and unpersonal ends. Considering the treatment Wong and Reegar got, I guess I can't be surprised. Image IPB

Patrick Weekes stated in a conversation that the Citadel has numerous safety shelters that could stay intact even if the whole place exploded. (I find it hilarious how people have disregarded comments from Devs as untrue, then whine about lack of answers)

It's also hilarious how people think throwaway characters from the first or second game should be MAJOR players in the third.

Screw Wong, screw Conrad, screw Reegar, and screw Kolyat. And if it didn't take war assets away, I'd let the b!tch who murdered Joker's sister kill herself every time.

Perhaps they will incorporate an explanatory slideshow via future DLC...

Mac Walters suggested that most everyone died. Just about everyone and their mom in bioware has back tracked from that comment since. The EC noticeably limits the destruction of the citadel, even in destroy.

I think officially you can say a lot died, but plenty survived too.
