You think Omega will have an effect on the ending

You think retaking night-clubs for space-pirates will do that different? I highly doubt that.

What Omega DLC needs to do is give us war assets that are shown in the Priority Earth.
Goddamn what am I talking about, Priority: Earth needs a remake not an update. brrrrr.

Endings don't goddamn need anything more. Maybe some content to clear up whether Shepard lives in destroy.

Though admittidly, confirming Shepard's survival in Destroy would be a great start in that department

And I was under the impression that my posts are supposed to express mine, not 'tens of thousands' (Why not billions, it sounds way MORE EPIC) people's opinion.

@ Iakus, no argument there.

I want new content damnit. New enemies, new hubs, new lore revelations. It's already bad enough that they're overpricing the content. Now they confirmed that Collectors won't be in it. However I never expected Omega to affect the endings...

I don't buy new content so that way it could make slight modifications to the content I already have.

Normally I don't buy content for that either. But then, I'm typically at least content with the content I already have.
What I want is a reason to go back to it. A reason to care about new content. I want to love Mass Effect again!
Collectors won't do that. But a line or two at the right moment could.

Bioware probably won't give our shepards true closure until probably me4 if we kept our save files
In other words, ME3 will not close the door on Shepard's story, and therefore be incomplete. That would be just peachy. I'm going to hold out until all major SP DLC is released. I will then look into it and figure out if it's worth my time and money. If Bioware would commit to fleshing out the fate of Shepard in the destroy ending by the time all the DLC is out, I might actually care enough to pick it up. But if they choose to maintain their ambiguity, I'll likely just move on to less disappointing games. ME3 is still fun to play, but with the story ending on such a downer it's difficult to find the urge to go through it again.

I read it and thought Omega is the last letter in the (Greek?) alphabet. Could they be saying that the war for the ending has begun? How much will you spend on DLC?

EMS is good excuse. It affects endings, so illusion that ending is changed holds. And if there is no real change, you can just point at EMS.Ithurael wrote...
You will get war assets which can affect what color explosion you get and how well that explosion works.

Anyone still believe in that nonsense?GeoGirl2008 wrote...
I wish it would. I'm hoping based on comments made by devs on twitter and other places that they have this big secret plan and that wasn't the actual ending but everything including the dlc's are going to come together eventually with a final dlc that will reveal the actual ending.

You may laugh and make fun if you like. But BioWare had a definite timeline for DLC's before the game was released. The ending was exactly what Mac and Casey stated it wouldn't be in interviews, so perhaps it is not actually the end. I don't think they counted on the extremely negative reaction to the ending shipped with the game so they created the EC as a bandaid to settle people down a bit. That likey messed with the DLC schedule, but they are probably still following it. Mike Gamble said that I would want to keep my copy of ME3 forever, and I think that BioWare will live up to that.
