I wish it would. I'm hoping based on comments made by devs on twitter and other places that they have this big secret plan and that wasn't the actual ending but everything including the dlc's are going to come together eventually with a final dlc that will reveal the actual ending.

Anyone still believe in that nonsense? :o

You may laugh and make fun if you like. But BioWare had a definite timeline for DLC's before the game was released. The ending was exactly what Mac and Casey stated it wouldn't be in interviews, so perhaps it is not actually the end. I don't think they counted on the extremely negative reaction to the ending shipped with the game so they created the EC as a bandaid to settle people down a bit. That likey messed with the DLC schedule, but they are probably still following it.  Mike Gamble said that I would want to keep my copy of ME3 forever, and I think that BioWare will live up to that.

Sure.
They destroyed their core fanbase, damaged their reputation, destroyed their own setting and all that for releasing "real ending" after a year, when almost no one will ever care to watch it on youtube?
Seems legit :wizard:

All their lies is no more than a simply damage control, pr smoke, to cover their failure. Also, a method to milk some deluded fans(from core fanbase) that still haven't written them off.
It is idiotic decision, from any point of view(business, art).
So sure, buy all their DLC, reward them for their lies, arrogance and sloppy work. :D

Either a small effect with some changed dialogue or nothing at all.

If the Leviathans didn't, then an Asari criminal will not either.

Leviathan at least added a line of dialogue to the ending. I would hope Omega might add a couple more.

I'd rather have Aria unplug the overlord and avoid the RGB thing altogether.

I would pay the full 60 dollars again for this ending.

Yes, you can now die with 8464 EMS instead of 7964 EMS.

I edited my game so that Jack would be worth 15000 EMS:bandit:

They already said they wouldn't create more content for the ending after the EC. So no.
Expect some new dialogues here and there, but that's about it.

If it doesn't improve the ending to allow for an morally and artistically consistent option, then I won't buy it, just as I didn't buy Leviathan, or that dumb weapons pack. That said, I highly doubt it will have any significance whatsoever regarding the ending (and by effect, doubt that it will have any significance whatsoever, period).

Same here. Not because I am an Aria fan but because at this point anything that lets me reject the Catalyst without everyone dying is preferred.

I just want Aria as a squadmate. Wrex' old Nemesis... I was really expecting this since ME2. I mean.. Carrie-Anne Moss seems a pretty big name for a character with so few lines. Have devs said anything (either left open the possibility or denied it) yet?

It's unlikely it's going to do much for the ending itself. I can see another 200+ War Asset like Leviathan but Omega probably doesn't give you any new power over the Reapers/Space Child.

I'd pay fifteen bucks for a brief add-on, explaining how my Shepard was rescued from the rubble, rebuilt the geth and EDI, and was awesome.

I won't pay fifteen bucks to help a useless character like Aria when there's a war on.

One thing I don't want to happen is for Bioware to use Omega as a recton / foreshadowing of Shepard picking Control (we are going to primarily dealing with Cerberus in this DLC).

I mean Leviathian threw in the recton / foreshadowing of the Catalyst in order to try and justify the character's appearance and motivation in the original game (EC not withstanding). Omega trying to justify Shepard's 180 decision after literally arguing against Control and TIM five minutes prior would be a horrible waste of a DLC (IMO).

You only need somewhere around 3k EMS for all ending options to be available. Anything beyond that 3k does nothing for you, and it's easy to obtain by the time you're about done with a playthrough. We don't get to see all the war assets we've gained in action in the retaking of Earth, so most of it just boils down to having extra numbers. I don't know about you, but that sounds pretty meaningless to me.

Unless the female turian joins or we get some ME2 character to join our crew as a result of this, no.

the events of the crucible will never change. maybe we'll get a dlc that expands events BEFORE the ending, such as a mission to Rio, but that's as far as we'll ever get.
