....Why is this even a issue? This is starting to seem like reaching for something to complain about now.

So they're just wasting the new Collector units on multiplayer... fantastic.

I'm pretty bummed by this news. I was hoping with the release of the Collectors in multiplayer we would get to see them in single player at some point... where it actually matters.

Walters: Right now, the short answer is no.

"Right now, the short answer is no." sounds like the answer might change if there's enough demand for it...

The price increase on Omega does not bother me, but it had better be 50% better than leviathan in terms of length and impact on plot.

m sick to death of cerby in me3, might as well have shepardo fight a brick wall for biotics sake :/
Bioware needs less skooma and more hp potions in there breakfast

Would like it if they did bring them into the SP but not really a big deal. I like the idea that Shepard doesn't get involved in every aspect of the war, having the collectors attacking the MP characters makes more sense. It less of plot contrivance that way for me anyway. He only involved in main war efforts so main Reaper threat would be unleashed on those sites, the collectors seem to be a side faction like the Reaper version of the N7 troops.

If they have something good up their sleeves and Omega turns out to be a great DLC, then it isn't that big of an issue.

But if it turns out to be more-or-less just shooing Cerberus off Omega, then it's a big goddamn issue because they wasted a pretty obvious opportunity to do something cool.

Bah, first the 15$ price tag, now this. Keep up the good work Bioware. And apparently it'll be more Cerberus then, just what ME3 needed, more of them. The true antagonists of the game, really.

At least the Collectors are fun in multi. The MP team is strangely overshadowing the main one in quality.

Goes to show you where their priorities lie these days.

Lul what? But that's just waste of resources. Why develop new enemy faction just for MP when it can be used in both MP and SP to good effect? Really puzzling to me

Yea it doesn't make much sense.
They know people really want it.
They already made them
........but no.
I just don't.......

Maybe they thought "people may complain that we reused Collectors in SP DLC..."???But no one complained, on the contrary, everyone was excited about the prospect of Collectors in both SP and MP DLC

Umm no, when the MP team spend months coding in a new enemy faction, you would assume they make an appearance in the SP

All I want at this point is a Charm check to turn Petrovsky. I don't care about Aria. I don't need her or her help. Saving Omega doesn't get me an epilogue card. I've accomplished nothing but re-establishing a crime lord.

I fail to see how this is an issue.

Indeed, though if Petrovsky get's the same narrative treatment the rest of Cerberus did I will be disappoint.

It's about the war. Whoever gives the better deal gets Omega if that's the case. If not I'm shooting Petrovsky in the face just for the lulz it will create here.

You might want to be careful, because THAT, my friend, might immediately vault you to the Refuse ending Image IPB

As of now, we don't know what's on Omega. Leviathan turned out to be quite important; I imagine Omega, and stopping Cerberus' plan on it, could be too. And you could gain some decent information from it.

I'm not bothered about them not being in Omega but the idea that they aren't considering using them at all at this point is a bit confusing. It would be so ridiculously easy to write a plot for them.

I actually could see how the Collectors could still be around, because it would be retarded for every Collector to be on that base AND to have only one ship after 50K years

Plus the little information about Collector swarms on Palaven

Well they probably had more than one ship, Vega supposedly destroys one in his film. I suspect there weren't many cruiser though, might have a few smaller ships, but we've only ever seen the one heavy cruiser, it's the same ship that Shepard keeps running into. Given the collector's obsession with capturing Shep and harvesting humans, you'd figure they would have deployed more than one ship if they were able.  Also given how reclusive the collector have been know to be it wouldn't surprise me if that was their only base. After all the Omega 4 Relay's been impenetrable for far longer than 50K years, they had good reason to consider that base secure. That Normandy even finding a Reaper IFF was a stroke of luck, without it the trip would have been impossible.

If they were around in greater number we should have gotten more info about their constant attacks with Reaper forces aside form one reference in a codex entry. Th Reapers are here, them holding the Collectors back as some sort of secret weapon doesn't make much sense to me to be honest.

They apparently love to waste time.   Especially when they heavily included new Harbinger material in the MP trailer.  Seems like such a waste of time for a one-and-done trailer.  This is not an entitlement issue.  It just honestly feels like they either have no idea what they're doing or love to bring players some hope only so they can fall harder.

He seemed to qualify that by elaborating that there'll be a backstory on the blog.  According to him, they have no other real reason to be around.

I'm just hoping Petrosky remains a mostly competent adversary instead of an indoctrinated mustache twirling looney.

Definitely more Vorcha.

And I got attached to the idea of the mystery figure in the screenshot being an important salarian---Kirrahe, Maelon, Jondum Bau, or perhaps an outside character who's sure to be alive.
