This may not matter to many, but its high on my list of pet peeves for most rpg games.

I say look at dragon's dogma and try to emulate that. That game had a ton of hair styles and they were pretty great. If DA3 could have that... :
Those hairstyles were awesome! I was very impressed with the quality and the quantity.

Don't talk about hair styles. SHOW the hair styles you want. There's certainly plenty of places to get examples.

Well I thought this would be inferred as my opinion by anyone. But here you go:
The OP is the opinion of the poster ( me) and may not reflect the opinion of everyone in the Milky Way galaxy.

Hmph. Good suggestion. I'll update once I have access to my laptop. Way too difficult, if not impossible, from my phone!

We're all sharing opinions aren't we? To state "IMO" in every post is superfluous.

They have much much much more important things to fix with the series, before worrying about hair options.

I agree we have other things to worry about. Though for me, it's not really the hair styles themselves, but what type of facial build and such you use with them. I agree though, more variety and better quality would be nice, if they had time and money to do it that they didn't have to take away from the story.
Oh, I was just being sarcastic, being bored at work will do that. Sure hair, why not.

I'm no expert, but I imagine it would be hard to implement that kind of thing in DA.

And yet it was done, on a limited scale, in DA2 with Flemeth's hair. There may be other examples in DA2 that I'm missing, but that's probably the most prominent.King Cousland wrote...

I wasn't implying hair couldn't move at all (as you point out it was done in DA II), but I'm uncertain it could be done as well as the Nvidia video demonstrated simply due to issues with things like clipping and the frequently "tight-knit" nature of things such as combat in Dragon AgeI. Complex animations such as the one you linked to would seemingly be included more easily in turn-based games such as FF.

And a way to "face import" your guy so you don't spend 7 hours trying to make him look like the guy from your first run through
