So, do I finally get to find out whatever the heck became of the Prince of Orzammar's "other" son?

Shame on that swamp which for not telling him he's not just a half dwarf, but he's descended from a long line of dwarven kings, and his own Dad was a great Paragon. Oh, and he even has a half brother, who's also a dorf. The kiddo deserves to know.

Or, in a different continuity, that his Dad was an incredibly evil Dalish elf who was betrayed and deserted by his own people, and had them slaughtered in retaliation...

Or, in my faviourite continuity, that he's a cousin of the Champion of Kirkwall, and his Dad was a ridiculously evil and powerful rebel mage, bent on slaughtering all the people who ever crossed him (and who his Mom still actually likes but refuses to admit it). I wonder what Hawke would have to say about that?

When I read your first line I thought you were referring to the son from the Dwarf Noble origin story.

This. Are you expecting different outcomes from different playthroughs to ALL be canon?

Actually, no, my favourite continuity is the one where my character became utterly nauseous at the thought of touching a woman, so he got Sir Loghain to do it instead.

So therefore the queen of Scotland is his half sister. Oh yeah... I so want to know how that's gonna play out!

When I read the title, I honestly thought this was going to be about barbeques in Dragon Age.

...Scotland?

No, I just want to find out how the heck this particular plot point is going to play out. It seemed pretty major at the end of DAO, yet they've left it just dangling for a hell of a long time, and refused to give any further answers...

Feraldan is such a ridiculously obvious fantasized version of Scotland.

Meant to be Saxon-England.

Eh, same idea. Crazy greedy empire refusing to stop abusing and raping small, defenlesss little country. Because they just love raping, pillaging, and burning for sh*ts and giggles... ah, yes, the joy of feudalism and the dung ages.

It's another crazy rant/troll thread from TheButterflyEffect! Oh, how I've missed your nonsensical ramblings.

Nevertheless, I believe I have deciphered the meaning of this thread: TBE is referring to the Old God Baby and is wondering what happened to it.

The answer: we don't know, but it'll be addressed at some point.

Um...anyway,
Personally I don't think it was possible to fit the OGB into Hawke's storyline. This will probably in DA3, since Morrigan is confirmed.
...but really, where does BBQ come in?

Confirmed to actually play a significant role, or confirmed to be a stupid meaningless 30 second cameo?

Or is she trying to trick some other poor heterosexual schmuck into sticking it into her for some other creepy hetero shagging ritual? Ugh, see, this is why gay pairing are so much better. So much less angst and bullcrap.

And will we get a decent explanation for why this story arc has been left without a resolution for so long?

Its FereldEN. FereldAn = a person from Ferelden.

Just to clarify.

"The world of the heterosexual is a sick and boring life!"

I'm not entirely unconvinced that TBE isn't John Waters being deliberately incoherent.

No, it's really not the same at all.
That's more like saying that Canada is the same as America.
