No, you just can't hold the fire button to zoom in. I imagine you can still zoom in regularly though. But the Krysae will probably need something else than a small damage buff to make it do more than collect dust in the back of our manifests.
Lol at the other sniper changes. Haven't wished for a Black Widow upgrade in ages.

I don't think any of the maps require much zoom.

Now..
- sniper rifles - maybe I will finally start to use them more
- acolyte - very good decision to change shooting mechanics, I just couldn't get used to it
- melee medals - I was thinking about it today while playing my N7 Shadow and this is exactly what I wanted. It wasn't really a challenge to get a gold medal when using melee based character
As I wait for drell infiltrator then it doesn't matter what character was released. I suspect that drell will be one of the last characters and I'm at peace with that.
But the maps... can't wait to play them, though I need to sleep now.

It was beast before. It just required people to learn how to overcome the charge. Now everyone will use it.

The Acolyte's biggest drawback was the charge time leaving you exposed or out of cover. It's better now.

Not really, the zoom went from perfect to ridiculously narrow. The zoom was virtually useless. Especially for a proximity-triggered projectile. They could remove the scope entirely and lose very little.

I didn't think the Krysae's zoom was about being able to see far, as much as it about being able to get the most bang for your buck (shot). Without zoom I can see killing a Guradian from across the map will be a pain.

Too bad they had to change the Krysae zoom, but I guess it was necessary.
Krogan Shaman is fine, but I was hoping to get new Asari.

Otherwise, good changes this week. Wish there was some method to how they're releasing the new characters though.

It will take for-freaking-ever to get that many points on husks. I'd need a game mode like that scene on the ME2 Collector Ship to even get close.
And now I have to find somewhere to camp grabs to get Combat Mastery. Awesome. The other three aspects...you know, the ones that are actually useful skills outside of farming...had been coming along just fine.

I didn't get much time with the Krysae before it became useless, but whenever I remember using it I think of Firebase Giant. The zoom was helpful shooting from the ramp, to the extraction spawn.

Not REALLY, but I think with the massive boost for the Black Widow, the Valiant deserves a little lovin'.
