Petition for less husk points on Reapers.

The challenges in these categories were primarily made up of three tier challenges. For example:
Husk Mastery 1
Husk Mastery 2
Husk Mastery 3
The bug we encountered was that if a player has completed Husk Mastery 1 and 2 for example, and then gains the rest of the challenge completions needed to finish the gold, without finishing Husk Mastery 3, they were now in this situation:
Husk Mastery 1 completed
Husk Mastery 2 completed
Husk Mastery 3 in progress
When the gold medal is completed all challenges that were completed for it are reset Now the player is in the situation of having 0 points completed in mastery 1 and 2, but having mastery 3 mostly completed already. This prevents mastery 3 from ever completing. Mastery 3 now continues to rack points past 100% without ever registering as complete, and can never count for credit towards another gold cycle.
This is an issue with all places where we have used multi-tier challenges. We decided we could leave Biotic God and Tech Mastery, because it is incredibly difficult to fill enough powers to complete it an not happen to max combos in the process, however leaving a number of challenges in half completed state was a much more common issue with the combat mastery and factional mastery challenges.

I thought that'd be the problem with lowering the points. People currently over the completion value for a challenge would be unable to complete it. Nice to hear that you were aware of what the changes would do though.
That's correct. If we lowered point values, any player who is already over the new value would be left with a stuck challenge that could never be completed.

Good to hear that you are aware of the husk thing. I can wait for an answer, as long as something is eventually provided.

So how does requiring all sub challanges help those who got "locked" sub challanges? If it does not, this fix only achieves that the majority can't get these masteries done in a reasonable timeframe even once. If it does, what's the reason not to do the check once every week for those that got stuck, and otherwise let people actually get the astery?Chris Schanche wrote...

I say find a solution for the initial problem regarding the buggy completion, then change the requirements back to the way it was. I know my suggestion isn't easy and will take time, but I think it's only fair for everyone. Also, 250 grabs? Yikes.

Or solo gold the first 3 waves are full of husks after that they kinda disapear though. That requirement is too high husks dont give enough points to warrant the 450k.

Can you allocate the whole wave budget to spawning husks for a weekend challenge?

Eliminate the tiered challenges. Just keep the top level one and just the number of challenges required accordingly. Problem solved.

Before patch, was at 99%. needed about 5% Ravager 3 and 25% Banshee 3. Now I'm at 93% I think and I'm at 50% husk 2. Maxed out everyone and husks aren't even half way to 450,000. Too much

last time I tried London Reaper platinum there was a bunch of husks....
