Here is a thought. Morrigan has the ability to cheat on the Warden, or dump him.

Or to just be somewhere he isn't.

This. Just because they're together doesn't mean they have to be bound by the hip.

I just hope they craft the game the way we played it. The Warden is alive in game. He got Morrigan pregnant. He even confronted her in a DLC.

No it won't. No he isn't.

Hero of Ferelden died a hero's death when defeating Arch Demon mind you! What WOULD be awkward is him following Morrigan and the demon baby around. We have enough zombie games as it is..

I wouldn't even be surprised if Morrigan only shows up if you import a save where you didn't do the ritual.

I feel a massive disconnect with having different characters in different games.

But to the case in point: it would be more suitable for Morrigan to have her cameo and have a brief nod to the Warden. Seems the most feasible at this point.

Naah I'd say Morrigan is protected by the voice actor's pay check. You WILL meat her and you WILL most assuredly listen to every single line of dialogue VA has been paid to deliver:p

Perhaps bit too much cynicim here..
...Not that I mind in this case, I loved the character. With significant and obvious exception of the clusterhump that was Witch Hunt.

I see no reson for Morrigan having to settle with a cameo btw. Has it been suggested her role would be a modest one?

I wouldn`t want my warden to end up as the clingy stalkerish kind of boyfriend. Constantly hanging around his gf.

Dude. I have Baldur's Gate custom portrait. I can do whatever I want.

....Was just trying to make a point there really:p   Warden had three(?) I don't even know how many  extremely different endings.Add the variations in gender, classes and races and you have quite a few very different Wardens, with very different relationships to Morrigan. it'd be very difficult to write him in as a character with VA and stuff. Idea of a pure Cameo with him stalking about in some corner with arms crossed strikes as pretty dumb as well.

I'd love to see numerous pretty heavy..referances to his life and times but really can't imagine a suitable way to bring him in in flesh and bone!

Also,is there really a reason to assume any Warden is still alive by the time DA3 begins? I'm **GUESSING**  DA3 witll take place after some 20-30 years after ending of DA:O. Tis a long time in an unafe world. Specially if one has dark blood in veins!!

He was a she in many games and Morrigan didn't do the dark ritual in some of those playthroughs.
So OGB is being written out for sure.

Haha same ... and orrigan is dead on the end of my stabby knife (unless she survived the gutting when she fell back into the mirror)

But of course game writers can make what happens, happen ... look at Mass Effect 2 and 3. /twitch

Um, what?  You want to force your decision on everyone else but won't allow anyone else to force their decision on you?  Posted Image  Hippocrite.

In my games, both of my female wardens pursued Alistair.  First one married him and became queen, second one got dumped at the Landsmeet when Alistair declared himself king.  In the first game, I let Loghain die and Alistair got Morrgan pregnant.  In my second game, I let Loghain live (hence why Alistair ditched me, but she was also a mage) and Loghain got Morrigan pregnant.  My wardens later let Morrigan go through the mirror alone ... but only because she refused to take me.

My games are no more valid or invalid than the next person's.  Stating your game has more weight over another only makes you look foolish and does little for your credibility in the future.  You only incite a flame war ... which seems to be exactly what you were intending given your responses.  Posted Image

I apologize to everyone because I never played my warden as a female or even though about it. I guess I got caught up in my male warden and his actions.

That's what I'm fearing too. I don't want my Dalish Warden to look deformed like other elves in DA2. Hopefully the elves will look better in DA3

I was gonna say something about female wardens and how I didn't even care about Morigann in my first play through, but... Since you're sorry, I'd rather they do mention her relation to the warden, but I'm worried about the warden's appearance in DA3 looking wonky, so I'd prefer no screen time for any of my wardens (especially not the elves...)

This is totally off-topic, but what the hell is "Dragon Age 4: Ancient Aliens"?!! <_<

... and on topic: I completely disagree with you. BioWare does not need to include a version of the Warden or storyline that suits your version of the Warden character. The Warden does not have a canonical gender, or race, or even a canonical class.

It is easily done when one is passionate about ones games  Thank you for the apology.

And I hope that you will get somekind of recogintion for your warden. My warden that married Alistair got a mention in DAII when Alistair was in Kirkwall after all. But, since there are so many different endings to the game, perhaps that mention won't be as big as you hope. I personally have wardens who refused Morrigan, one did the ultimate sacrifice another let Alistair help her. The story have to work for them as well.

Time will tell I guess. Have fun on the forum.

You disrespecting my woman brah?  I get what op is saying. He means if Morrigan is in the game with the old god baby then the warden needs to be there. which is based off a huge assumption and also i get this feeling that becasue so many people want, it wont be there out of spite. The warden and Morrigan arn't married and even if they were they don't have to follow each other around everywhere they go.

I just want it to be an equally or more so epic journey as the first game.

On the one hand we have people making threads requesting more and better imported decisions for DA3. On the other hand, we have people specifically requesting certain characters never return for anyone, under any circumstances, even when the presence (or absence) of those characters would be determined by imported decisions, just because those characters died in some playthroughs.

How about... if your Warden died in DA:O, then no Warden in DA3. And if your Warden lived in Origins, then he or she shows up in Inquisition. Ditto for the OGB. Is that not a pretty straightforward concept for everyone to understand?

To get back on topic, I have to second the motion that we do not see the Warden's face. After the ME3 face import bug, and the problems that people had with the faces of returning characters in DA2, as well as the new look faces for elves being inconsistent with the face models for an elven Warden, I can only see a Warden face import being a disappointment for fans.
