Assuming you mean Warden when you say Champion.
You do know that not all the Wardens got with Morrigan, and some of the Warden PC's DIED right?

She could carry the Warden's corpse around. Or maybe reanimate it and have it do the dusting.

Actually, this is pretty important when it comes to a potential Morrigan return.

No save game data from Witch Hunt was imported into DA2. In fact, I do not think it is possible to even save the game after making your final decisions with Morrigan in Witch Hunt.  So whether the Warden followed Morrigan into the eluvian, or stabbed her, surely neither scenerio can have any impact whatsoever in DA3 (unless Bioware allow you to choose manually, or they opt for a canon choice.)

What your warden or anybody else's might want is irrelevent.

Morrigan is not the warden's slave, even if they do have a relationship. She doesn't have to stick around him if she doesn't want to, she doesn't have to let him follow her, she doesn't have to keep her child with her everywhere she goes and she doesn't have to tell anyone where the child is or that she even has one.

everybpdy has their own opinion on the wardens return some would like him/her back some wouldn't,But what i think the OP is trying to convey is for those of us who have wardens still alive and would like to play as them again or at least see them again. And yes many people choose the ultimate sacrifice therefore your warden died, but keep in mind there are two wardens one from DA:O, and another from DA:A and that one cannot die so it is still possible for the warden to show up again like it or not. As for the dark ritual untill we know otherwise if you did or did not do it it's still cannon so only time will tell what will become of it.

This is getting out of hand. Bioware, please Twitterkill the Warden. And Hawke just for good measure. We need this put to rest.

While my Warden's LI was Morrigan as well, I'd be happy with a simple shout out or even better- more info as to where he ended up. And even better!! If his disappearance is connected in some way with Hawke's and if that has anything to do with Flemmeth's master plan! But in terms of my Warden coming back for a make out session or whatever I don't really care that much.

I keep hearing that Morrigan is gonna be in DA3. Is this confirmed? Or...where is this coming from? I missed that bit of info and would really love to know what was said to make ppl think that...

Hear hear*sob!*
I really think this is only suitable and sane  way to.."meet" the Warden in DA3.  Ofc, majority of BSN would be in uproar if this were to take place anything less than..sayy 40 years after DA:O.

well it's possible for the warden to return as i stated, but imo for those who don't want the warden to return you should not look down on those who do our opinions matters as much as yours.

I want to understand why everyone wants all these old characters to return. Its a new game in a different part of the world. I want a standalone experience. If somehow they fit the old characters into the plot than okay fine but they shouldn't put them in the game just for the sake of putting them in the game.

I'm not saying to stick them in a game just for the sake of doing it, if they were to stick them in game for no reason that would be just as bad as ignoring them. and as for why some want to see/play the warden or hawke I think it boils down to they won't closure and they just don't have it yet.

I'm with you on this. I just hate that people on this forum  are quick to shoot down someone's wants.

everybody has different wants out of DA3 it's only natural afterall we are all different. but to dismiss someone's opinion just because you don't like it is terribly narrow minded imo.

I'm not shooting anyone down. I am just saying that everyone wants all their favorite characters to return. Its a new game with new characters. I love the old characters just as much as everyone else. I would love to see them return in some capacity. And I agree I want closure for my Warden as well seeing as all I know after awakening is that he dissapeared. Hawke same thing. I don't think they have to be on DA3. If they are great. If not than okay no problem.

I agree with the point as well if they are in the game just for the sake of being in the game than they might as well have just left them out of the game.

First BIoware needs to pull themselves out of the mess that was DA2.

If the Warden returns it'll be Leiliana all over again:

"MY WARDEN DOESN"T LOOK  LIKE THAT!"

"MY WARDEN WOULDN"T SET FOOT IN ORLAIS!"

"MY WARDEN"s WITH MORRIGAN/ZEVRAN/LEILIANA/LEILIANA/ALISTAIR,KING/QUEEN of FERELDEN!"

And that's ignoring the fact that some imports are bugged/glitched and don't import correctly such as  the game assuming Alistair/Loghain died although  you did the Dark Ritual.

there will be complaints no matter what so that doesn't mean you don't try, And all the complaints are a blessing and a curse, Nlessing because it shows your fans care about the franchise, a curse well because your fans care about the franchise so it all depends how you look at it.

Maybe the warden had a clone of him/herself ( for those that did the ultimate sacrifice ). And the clone was the one that killed the archdemon.

Except it isn't worth the headache.
