http://social.biowar...x/13934302]This Thread[/url] was kind a poke of fun about learning the toolset. But since it has faded into the digital fringe, I have remembered what it was like to ask a question that was obviously so basic but not haveing been able to solve it myself, I decided to post my question(s).

I really liked the interface of the NWN2 toolset but all of its intrinsics were not jumping out at me like most of its basic functionalities.

That was around 3 years ago.

The community was thriving like pop-rocks in carbonated water and knowledge was being invented as well. But most of that community only lives in the work(s) they created. And just as all of that was assimilated, a new community formed, here - the olde forums having been ereased. But the community was thriving as it burned the midnight oil to create projects that have exceeded that of all the Original Campaigns.

Now a new wave of creators are surfacing and I am watching all of it go through the cycle again.

:innocent:

For some odd reason, my post didn't post - but it was still in the edit form.

So here it is:

Hi Morbane,

This is at least my third cycle if you count the old forums before the last forums. The ones before NWN was even released!

In fact, I just went to look for a link to the old forums and my link just goes to the Bioware website now. :(

Lance.

With regards to things disappearing I remember when I used to be capable of answering questions on this forum like "where's my water gone ?".. It just shows how advanced things are getting and how the wealth of really good tutorials has made a difference. There was one I read a long long time ago that actually said to leave auto save on !

Yay for new projects :)
I miss the "old "days of figuring out 2da's and way the toolset worked.
Eagerly awaiting RWS's new packs etc.

I still haven't figured out 2da's and avoid them.
