I've noticed that Lone Wolf banners seem to indicate that the player is going to focus on damage output alone while letting everyone else do the objectives and reviving.
That seems odd... when you're alone, no one else is there to do the objectives. You sure you haven't just seen like 2 people with the banner and decided that this is how all 'Lone Wolf' banner holders are?
I haven't said anything about a certainty of player quality. It's just what I've noticed thus far. I can see the the mentality behind what I've noticed. When solo, you have to do high DPS while also juggling objectives. In team games, you can just focus on spawn killing, etc. The objectives are only a hinderance to your slaying and your teammates can do that extra objective stuff.
Eh.. the easiest solo is obviously Kroguard vs. Geth, and Kroguard isn't really a high DPS class. Survivability is a bigger issue, a lot of the time. On my non-Kroguard solos, most of the match consisted of funelling enemies into one area and sort of combining taking shots at them and retreating. Staying alive is the big thing. High damage output can make things go faster, but at least for me, it's a very defensively-minded thing. It's more patience than mook slayage.
Probably completely different for people that can actually solo well (only my silver/bronze solos were U/U and with a less invincible class). Also, the Ghost infiltrator has both amazing survivability and fantastic damage output, so I guess that's sort of different.
