Is there any known way by now of enabling antialiasing on decals and transparent texture objects (like the text and logos on the walls of the Normandy, and the cargo nets on the Rayya) without resorting to full SSAA or the Nvidia Inspector SGSSAA hack (both of which incur insane performance hits (going from >200 fps (no AA) non-vsynced to <45 fps on my 560Ti-448) compared to MSAA/CSAA + TrMSAA)? And no, that blurry abomination called FXAA doesn't count.

I've been playing through ME2 recently and never really cared about antialiasing until now. But having seen how much it does for other games I decided to have a go at it in ME2 as well. And I can honestly say it's been a quite frustrating experience.

First of all how much memory does your video card have? Is it a onboard or off board feature? Because Onboard Video SHARE the computer main memory and process power. Off Board card have their own processor and memory.
the second thing that you must see is which directx your video support. My video card for example has 1GB of memory, directx 11 support, and does support antialiasing of 4x. So if your video card is an off board device then check it's box and see in the device description if it does support antialiasing

The GTX 560s, every kind, are all discrete add-on cards with their VRAM attached. His problem is probably still another bad driver from nVIDIA.
