Discussed a while back, the defensive power for Geth should be Geth Shield Boost; Defense matrix boosts tech powers which soldiers usually shouldn't have, and Geth Shield Boost would allow for some new directions. That being said, an engineer with defense matrix, defense drone, and something else could be fun to play around with.

Except the Geth Trooper has Flamer, which is Tech

CQC geth...not sure how this'll turn out. shield matrix would have synergized waaay better with flamer.

True, which is why I said "usually shouldn't have," though I suppose the "mold" is changing; I wouldn't have any problem with defense matrix, I just think GSB feels more Geth-y, and could open some more options for spec-ing.

Bioware accidentally revealed all of the characters on the select screen the first day Retaliation was out.  There are some vids on YouTube, if you want to see them and their assigned powers.

Thank you!

they should've given the shaman adept annihilation field...

anyone would've liked that? just meleeing around with the field on would have been more fulfilling and different than what it is right now

i thought the devs were gonna at least change a bit the skill trees  :(

talk about missed opportunity :o

My only problem with Slam is Biotic Explosions are bugged and detonate way above where they could do some damage. Unless they patched that recently.

Why would you use slam when you can just shoot someone instead? It's literally the worst power in the game.

Everyone who wants slam in the MP is wrong

@ Chris Schanche: Thank you for not adding slam, especially on the Krogan Shaman. While that power may have been good enogh for Miranda, it certainly isn't good enough for Urdnot Khull.

We've discussed slam a few times. But for it to become useful and viable in MP we would need to look at changing it's functionality quite a bit. Since we cannot allow ragdoll effects on enemies with armor, this power would really only be useful for killing baseline troops.

As it is right now Slam wouldn't be much more, if any more, useful then pull, and we've decided not to redesign and implement this power right now.

That's what I was thinking. As much as I like the power thematicly, it just is worthless the way it is now.

even on SP it is worthless, since ME2. I never use it...

Or, how about an engineer with Defense Drone, Combat Drone and Sentry Turret?

You could call the kit "The Toymaster."  :P
