When does that start making sense? I can understand platinum, because it's supposed to be super hard, but Gold is supposed to be just regular hard. Not nearly-impossible-because-of-endless-cheese hard.
Why do Bronze and Silver get fixed, while Gold (and Platinum) don't?

As far as Bronze is concerned, please leave it as is. Unless we have a group of four sub N7-20 players, it is fine. What I have seen since the DLC came out is a migration away from cowboy antics and sloppy play strategies, to more teamwork. By making Bronze just a tad bit tougher, more folks seem to be in the escort, folks travel in packs, folks revive faster (except maybe the cowboy who dies on the other side of the map while we are doing the hack or escort), folks use medigel.
My bottom line, Bronze was just a bit too easy, so experienced players could be sloppy and careless, now that doesn't work so well. The last few days I have played some of the best consecutive team games in a long while. Always had good pugs come along, but they typically only last a match or two. I am now seeing more consistent team play. And when that happens, it helps, not hurts the new players. So please, don't nerf Bronze.

The hacking missions can be a tad overwhelming as well when these bosses come into the circle. It can make hacking impossible when these bosses constantly spawn.

there should be a respawn timer on bombers and dragoons, it feels like i kill 50 of the new units per wave.
especially on gold, i kill them and they race back to me, which case i usually fall back so i can kill them without getting shot....... then the cycle continues.
i have fought so many bombers and dragoons i almost cant remember what the other troops look like.
about scions, they have like the highest damage per shot, they also stagger, have insta kill, heavy melee, cluster grenades, and pretty tanky.
maybe they should be given super speed, plague swarms, and self detonating nuclear explosion, and a cerberus turret mounted on their heads too....
but ya man i pretty much agree with your post and definitly like the phrasing.

Bronze should be suitable for an N7 of 1, default manifest, and no experience. It should also be a good place to try out new builds and weapons for experienced players.
It's become far too difficult for casual gamers, especially the Collectors and Geth. Way too many boss spawns, and insta kill enemies. The difficulty for Bronze should just be put back to the way it was, and the Collectors need a general Nerf, at least below Platinum.

No, sounds terrible to me

it used ot be possible to solo bronz wihtout useing any consumables or team play without anyconsumables but now more often than not you need ot use at least a few gels in each match and unless your packing lvl x wepaons and lvl 5 amps your going to need other consumables as well (ammo/weapon/armour mods) all of which are difficult for the lower level range players to obtain wiht the low payout's.
also i would ask that the gate time be changed to account for latency, 25ms is not exactly great when the average server ping is about 150ms on pugs (well for me at least and judging by many others complaints for them as well) so up it to at least 200ms to allow for average latency connections for pugs (you cna even keep it lower for private matches) i'd say do this for all levels where its a public game.
those two changes would make up for a whole world of pain on the battelfield and bring back the fun factor of getting new gear from the rng gods:)

I agree.
Stomping should also be rare on the lower difficulties, they don't have more than 2 gels to use per match.

I mainly play Silver and, like others have reported, I'm going down way more than pre-dlc but to mooks automatic weapons not to dragoons, bombers or higher level enemies. Also once I'm down now it's often for the rest of the wave as if I revive/am revived there's only a very slim chance of getting way before being hit by another pinpoint accurate barrage so no point wasting the medigel or risking squadmate.
Not sure I'd want any other changes on Silver (I like the challenge) other than perhaps Collectors to be a little slower -they're a pain to kite on objective rounds as they get back so quickly.

Bronze SHOULD be ridiculously easy, the way it was. I don't know if it's enemy accuracy, stomping, or whatever, all I know is the game was a lot more fun at launch and through the summer than it is now, so whatever was changed, just change it back.

Other than that, I have no issues with the difficulty. I'd recommend finding whatever's causing the sudden deaths people still seem to be getting, even if it's not a gate-based problem. I've had many recent Silver matches where these issues just don't crop up and the difficulty feels normal - and pretty good.
