If my old pc could have supported DA:O, I would have buyed the pc version. But I already had a PS3, so I made the simplest and less expensive thing at the time... I buyed the PS3 version. Better than buy a new pc...
Of course the pc version is better, with all the mods and, usually, is cheaper than the consolle version (at least it became cheaper much sooner without going in the second hand market) but I have to say I wasn't disappointed by the consolle version.
My biggest fear is if DA3 will be for the new generation of consolle...but I really hope not...
Should I get DA3 on PC or Console?

Regarding the save importing issue... we don't really know much about Inquisition. For all we know they could add a way to choose the most important decisions in the older games, like they did when Mass Effect 2 was first released for the PS3.
If that is the case, go with your prefered platform. If not, PC.

I'm probably an unusual case, but I play Bioware games on console and PC. In most cases, I'll buy the console version first so that I can play on my main television in the living room while lounging on the couch. After several months, I'll eventually pick up the PC version (usually if it's on sale) and go through the game again, but with mods and all of the updates for a different experience.

I'd say PC if you can run it.

What to do prefer in consoles that a PC can't do? I plugged my pc into my 55'' tv and use a controller whenever I feel like it (though I prefer the precision of mouse + keyboard).

PC, but I'm console hater (not consolist hater
for pc there will be various mods (mainly using cosmetics mods, but there are also some to fix imports issues and such )
And mouse and keyboard is better (but I tryed console controller only once, so I can be mistaken)
Oh, no ! Now I will have an infinite nightmares...

That seems very likely, what with the hints the imports are getting some... extended work. Not to mention that Webhallen, one of Sweden's most reputable and reliable stores for games, has Dragon Age 3 up for preorder for the WiiU. Since there is no DAO and DA2 for WiiU, DA3 would need something to set import flags on that platform, thus the work on such content will likely have finished in time for the DA3 launch.Lathrim wrote...

Very much up to personal preference, I believe =) Personally I find issuing orders in DAO easier on mouse&keyboard (they're both equal in DA2), while walking in general feels very stale using the digital input of a keyboard compared to an analogue stick.Perlicka wrote...

I prefer Consoles as well however if you have it on PC already I would do that. But you can buy DAO with all the dlc for $20 (the one with awakening and everything else on disk or on a separate disk and DA2 is just $20 as well do if you want you can just pay $40 but I think you would really want to play on consoles to do that.

Honestly people I have always played console games and like console better. With the exception of games like command and conquer and Starcraft type games because they suck a** on console I understand why people like computer gaming better.

Either. DA2 was basically the same on consoles and PC. You'd be able to issue commands faster and get a better view of the party formation on PC, but that's not that big a deal.
