Hello all,
I have had a problem with my PS3 of late on my Shepard Vanguard I just started playing this past week. Basically I cannot upgrade certain weapons (The Carni, Revenant, Scorpion, Mattock.) beyond a certain point, (Level VII). But other weapons (The Eagle) I can get up to X just fine.
Help?
Problem Upgrading Weapons.

Are you talking about Multiplayer or single player? If you are talking Multiplayer then what you unlock and when is all random if you are talking about single player go to the armory and upgrade at a console there hope this helps you out.

For the weapons that can only be upgraded till 7, you need to find them "again" (locations or store) in order to ulock them. Once found, youll upgrade them to x in o time.

Thank you Retic. Oddly enough I just thought of that...almost after I posted this. But I was still eager to hear any confirmation on this.

Al Foley:
Glad to be of help
Just to clarify for others with the same query, in SP mode, you could use the console to upgrade your weapons to X level if those are the pre-order weapons (ie: Argus pre Leviathan and Valkryie) or DLC weapons (ie: Harrier, Bloodpack Punisher).
Everything else (ie: Phaeston, Revenant), best you could do is to upgrade them to level 7 and then "find them again" in their known locations throughout the game. Of course, you COULD "find them" first and then use the console to upgrade them later but iirc, it would cost more credits that way.
