Ahh, another useless thread... please excuse my mini-rant... just felt the need to vent

The drop rate for the new characters must be set pretty high... I'm done with the Turians, and yesterday I opened a PSP with 2 Krogan Shaman in it...

I guess I'm glad to get the chars, but I'd also like to get some weapon upgrades or maybe some of the gear that I've yet to unlock?

spent 4m on this dlc and only got a Volus engineer...

They forgot to remove the krogan shaman from the item pool once you max it, just like last week.

Yeah, too bad if you have already maxed out everything including all the Ultra-Rares.

Great. Good that I am lagging exactly one week behind. I just unlocked the Voluses and the new Turians yesterday and now will wait until all my characters are back up to Level 20 again to promote them all and start the next shopping spree. In my experience that's the way to get more UR drops: buy PSPs in streaks.

I've been buying regular spectre packs and they yielded much better loot than PSPs, I got ghost, harrier, collector sniper and older N7 weapon upgrades

Let's see, how long have I been playing?  I just unlocked the typhoon last week.  There is a certain halloween feel to it, no?

I have been trying to get the Krogan shaman, but he just refuses to drop for me.

I bought a PSP and got volus adept. Wasn't TOO thrilled since I haven't gotten an UR in ages and have my eye on a typhoon or harrier...but I love trying out new powers so I accepted it being unlocked. a couple games later i decide I'll buy a SP...oh, an UR. cycle over excited to...volus adept. two URs in an hour, right after eachother, and it's the same one.

Wow. That sucks.
A couple of weeks ago I was close to maxing my rare weapons. As I actually used the Acolyte back then, I was keen to get it to X. Then maybe get the Indra above I.
Now it's Argus, Raider, or new weapon mod IN EVERY PACK.

Wish I could unlock the Shaman.

I bought a load of PSPs yesterday and most of what I got was the f***ing Raider. Every. Single. Time.

Then I bought a two Spectre packs, got a Volus Engineer in each, after that I bought a Vet pack and got the Turian Ghost :-S

Gear - if you by it mean gear bonuses - seems to be more easily obtained through less expensive packs. Anyway, interesting that you get so much level IV ammo. Over the months I've played, and the numerous packs I've bought and received, I've gotten THREE level IV ammo bonuses total.
