There are SO MANY THREADS about being disconnected in the middle of the game. WHY isn't there ANYTHING done to address this almost game-breaking issue???

Use cable to connect Xbox to modem... constant disconnects from EA servers.
Instead use wireless... everything is a-ok forever!

- If your connection drops out, instead of kicking you back to main menu, try re-opening the dropped connection. Your client keeps many connections open at any given time, if any one of these drops out the game gives up completely and you lose everything. Is that really necessary? I don't think so.
- Make it easier to get back into the same game you dropped out of. Many multiplayer games do this, you log back in and get offered the same spot you just had. Why can't ME3?
- If you rejoin the same game it should remember your current score and credit count (and consumables too, why not). That's if you can rejoin in time....
- Streamline the login process. It takes 2 full minutes to "Connect to EA servers", during which the client is downloading up to 700kb just for authentication (what the hell is that about?). And it doesn't download at full speed either. Then another 20 seconds to check DLC (DLC gets checked every time you go to the main menu, not just once per session, what the hell for?). Another minute to load the multiplayer menu, why so long? The overhead here is atrocious. Compare to any other modern multiplayer game, many of which can login and join a game in under a minute.
- Awarding credits to your account immediately is an option. You say restarting an objective wave could be abused? Simple solution is: don't save credits to your account until the whole wave is completed. Yeah if you drop out after the objective is done but before the wave is finished you miss out. But you would still get credits for the waves prior, and dropping out during extraction wouldn't be so bad, so still better than nothing.
- While we're on the topic of network related issues, how hard would it be to put in a line of code that goes: if (player uses ops pack and player is dead) then { refund the ops pack } ?
So yeah, when I ask Bioware to "fix connection issues", I don't expect them to magically make the internet perfect, but I would like them to put some more effort into their programming.

perhaps, but it would be nice to hear/read them say so. There is an ominous silence on the issue.DarthKilby wrote...
There is no way for BioWare to address and fix ther servers. Those are controlled by EA. Its EA's problem and likely they don't care enough to fix them. I'd bet good money that BioWare would love to be able to do something about it but is unable to do so.

Nothing less than three, three goddamn disconnects since. Third one happened right now. I've lost one Wave 7 Solo gold, one wave 8 Platinum, one wave 7 Platinum.
Thats about 170,000 credits, not counting consumables, which you know Platinum and Gold Solos can take a bunch.
I'm going to EA Support to rant about that.

I'm not kidding, I've been trying to get a game going for the last 30 minutes.
First, no one joins the game in like 5 minutes. Okay.
Second, I started up a few games, and on my third try where I was the only player, I got disconnected. Okay.
And again, after updating something finally people joined up, we started a round, and during wave 4, I got disconnected (as the host).
I can imagine how annoyed the guys were who joined the game.
Probably even more annoyed than I am.
Because it's Monday.

Your first mistake is playing on PC. Your secoond mistake is thinking you aren't going to have massive problems on PC. I quit PC gaming several years back because online MP sucks and I wanted a more consistent experience. I have it.
BS.

Call it BS all you want, but 99% of the people complaining about connectivity issues are on PC. I have been playing this game since the demo and have been DC'd maybe 5 or 6 times total. Funny that you say you live in Brazil as I thought the river there was the Amazon, not Denial.
Blaming a plataform for a connection issue Origin\\EA\\ME3 has. Its BS sir.

I quit console gaming because PC gaming is vastly superior.

In Windows Firewall and your router setting (I did both) add a new inbound and outbound rule, allow connection to 5659, 6000 UDP. I rarely have disconnection issues, but when I do it is usually on my end due to weather.
