Say you met this person who had a time machine. He sends you back to March 5th. Would you cancel your pre-order? Would you not go to the midnight release? Would you not buy it the next day?
I personally would wait until it was half off. It's the economical decision and they're releasing the whole trilogy for $75, so yeah. I paid $20 each for the first two and if I paid $30 for this one it would've added up perfectly.
Knowing what you know now, would you buy ME3?

If I knew someone with a Time Machine, I would go back in time to show Drew Karpyshawn the reaction BSN, Youtube, and the internet had to ME3 when Mac & Casey took hold.
That said, IDK OP. What would have been better? Experiencing a game that is 90% amazing only to have 10% epic/utter fail that damn near crushes your inner child or not experiencing it at all?
I still get mad about that "buy more dlc" message pre EC

Ide still buy it, but not until the price had taken a nose dive & the EC had come out.

I actually did know what was coming. So were the other people who were part of the Spoiler Group. However according to the early leak that happened around Nov. 2011, there was no mention of the Normandy Crash, that Shepard died in all of them, the breath scene, all the relay's being destroyed, and we also didn't know that all the endings would look the same. Remember this was just a script. The logic of the Catalyst was also a bit cloudy with the early script.
So at first glace, the endings were kinda lame, but they didn't cross over into the truly bad category. That is until people who got their hands on the early space copies, started leaking the endings. The leaked final endings occured less than a week before release, and they ended up being much MUCH worse than what the script was portraying.
By that time the game was only a few days from release, and i had the game already paid for, so i said "F it, i'll play it anyway."
If I had known the big picture well in advance, i wouldn't have given Bioware my money. I would've waited till it dropped in price and buy it used.

no, I would have him send me back to 2006 use my knowledge of the way stocks will perform (or winning lotto numbers) to get enough money to purchase Bioware so that EA can't give them copies of ME2 and ME3 and let them know what the major gripes were with both, then let them get to work on making great games.

Nope, wouldn't cancel my preorder.
I still think they're going to reveal the ending most people really want once all of the SP DLC has been released, so if everyone cancelled their pre-orders then the game would've sold too poorly to justify developing DLC and we would've lost out for sure.

Absolutely I'd cancel it. I'd ride it out and then pick it up in the bargain bin for a fraction of the price.

Yes.
Despite having issues with the ending, I still enjoyed the majority of the game.

Absolutely not, well not new. I would have purchased a used copy, never played it past Anderson, and then enjoyed MP
